It would be amazing to see GTA IV cars back, but they didn’t do anything when GTA IV completed 10 years... well I still want to believe.

I hope they do not release aberrations like Streiter without stock version.

Well, since a few people ruined the main discussion thread, I’ll ask this here as it does pertain to how many cars we’ll see in the update.

 

Before the After Hours update launched, I recall people saying that the size of the update was massive—as in, the actual download size of the update. AH turned out to be pretty lacking in content. Am I crazy, or is the amount content in an update not exactly reflected by the number of gigs it takes up?

Well, I wouldn't say it was lacking. It had enough cars with good customization, a whole new business with activities, garages, MOC and other sh*te. 
I mean I can agree on the fact it was lacking in interesting content, but not in the numerosity of it.

You're not crazy, just misunderstanding, they are adding higher res versions of clothes etc textures these days when compared to a few years ago (so more & bigger textures translates to bigger download size) and the AH dlc had a ton of music, that takes up space too, then theres the fact that vehicles are generally more detailed these days (either straight from the start, or offering a ton of customization)

They still put roughly the same amount of content in each DLC (actually more then compared to a few years ago, but of the last dozen or so DLC nothing stood out as 'more content then the others') its just bigger download sizes these days because its all higher detail, even tho it might not be obvious we've slowly been getting graphical upgrades every few dlc's, and thats why the DLC's keep getting bigger while not really offering more content.

For me that will still take quite some time (having like 80 installed games lol) but its definitely going to hit a 100gb in a few more DLC's, i mean its almost 85gb now and each DLC is in the 3-4gb ballpark, honestly makes me wonder how badly some of the developers would want to start wrapping things up, or at the very least take the time to go trough ALL the content added since release and seeing what they can do to start optimizing things more before piling on even more content beyond a 100gb.

R90C is actually useless imo as this is not a racing simulation. New Bentley is good though, that's great.

So is every helicopter as it's not Arma 3. It's good enough for purely aesthetic purposes.

For example now this update has at least one car I genuinely give a sh*t about, smash me with a f*cking Saturn rocket made of uranium, I am so happy.

As much as I love the Annis, I hope its body style doesn't rule out similarly shaped supers (long and low shaped) like the Maserati MC12, Porsche 962 Shuppan and Mercedes CLK GTR. We know R* doesn't like their cars to be too similar but here's hoping...
