skann Posted July 18, 2019 Share Posted July 18, 2019 (edited) Hello everyone, The idea of this project came as a suggestion from a Player, in which he saw my previous mod of a villa added in the Coast of flint county , so He suggested to add a whole new area like Malibu , which will benefit from the View of Los Santos . This projects present an extension to Flint county ,in which i have Added a couple of Mansions , Villas to the Same coast that share the same sea with Santa Maria beach , in which all the Properties added benefits from the view of santa Maria Beach and Los santos in general, so the area that i worked on is represented in red in the Map below : Spoiler So, the projet is located West to Los Santos, This project contains 7 new properties. The Properties added contains : One Savedisk , Couples of cars Spawned and a Jetmax . All the textures added are taken from the games , noone of them were edits or made to Higher Resolutions , Basicly this mod fits with SA's old textures . I already did it. Permission to help? :P I really liked your mod, on the SA Style side. The graphic atmosphere of your mod fit the game perfectly, the buildings are perfect, it's hard to see a map mod doing that. I worked on your mod for 2 days, now I'm too lazy to type everything I did, but basically I added pre-lighting (fake shadows), minor bugfixes, no rain inside house, and recreated the CLEO scripts, now well programmed from scratch (yours crashed and bugged and hit limits and corrupt the saved game etc). Also fixed incompatibility with practically all other map mods. I removed the rocks, it's ugly in my opinion, but you knows... However I don't understand what the new zone file does. Source code here. Download the updated version here. I posted the fixed mod on my site, you find there more information about what I did and needs to be done. You can find good map tutorials in my old-dead-abandoned forum (just translate it). In the future there will be better tutorials in my new forum here (there are some good ones already). I also called a guy to put the waters in the pools, he does a great job.
