I’m more curious why people want SecuroServ terminals in their penthouses. The casino doesn’t strike me as any more of a convenient location than Arcadius or Maze. Options are nice, but I don’t see myself using it much.

Would be cool if we could actually download the DLC on monday (for consoles at least), but the DLC is enabled on tuesday so that player with bad internet (like me) have enough time to download it and can actually play the DLC as soon as it is supposed to drop on tuesday.

I don't think Rockstar wants people leaving the Casino rich as f*ck even though that's the point of casino is to make a load of money, but the purpose is to Win/Lose so there's that.

Clever people will create a/map the system that R* uses to give people the best possible chance. The collective intelligence of millions of players far outstrips R*'s best efforts. Take Fallout New Vegas for example, Obsidian implemented anti-cheating measures in a single player game and people still found ways to fleece the Casinos dry.

If there are npc's on the rooftop i want to know if they will scramble and desert the place after hearing a gun shot

Where will they run? Im sure you would have to go through a loading screen first just to access the roof

Brilliant game. Easily the best 3D Fallout game. The writing is on point, the world is amazing, the factions are varied and each faction has a story, you can play them off against each other etc. Its well worth a go.

Word of warning, it was made by the original FO creators and is set on the West Coast instead of the East Coast so it has little if anything to do with FO3 and FO4, you will see factions you know but thats about it. It follows on from the world that FO1 and 2 created.

what a question. almost every falloutfan says vegas is the best of the 3 games and i think it too. dont rush through the main story because the sidequests are very good too.

I agree. I bet once you enter the casino it will put you in a separate session of sorts like they do in RDR. 

 

One thing is for sure and that is there is no way you will be able to be killed just hanging on the roof by some griefer. It wouldn’t make any sense.

Fallout 3 had better map (cooler locations) but Fallout NV had better story and improved gameplay. Both game are pretty similar (think gta3 vs gtaVC) but New Vegas is still my favorite fallout game they made. I can recommend it but it might be a little bit outdated by todays standards.

First I will try to land my avenger on top. After that I will take my cargobob and drop a porta potty filled with sticky bombs. For science!

But my prediction is that this will woks just as freeroam cutscenes (where no one can see you and you can't see anyone else just to be sure that nothing interrupts the cutscene). I think Fun called this as "a lobby inside a lobby" or something like that.

So people from outside won't even see players on the rooftop
