No, they haven't used the player assets for NPCs. They have given them exclusive items, even though they have the same bodies. That's my point.

 

We can't have Bryony's sweater and shirt combo. That is an asset created exclusivly for her, that would fit perfectly well on the female body.

 

The nightclub dancers are the exact same model as female players. But they have exclusive body paint and clothes.

 

Lazlow's model in After Hours is the exact same as male characters, barring his face. And it took them until the next update just to give us his shoes.

 

The yacht captain, again, has the same body as males. And we can't have his clothes.

 

There are many, many more.

That's exactly my feeling. No offence to anyone but if I wanted to drive Supercar knock-offs I would play a much better racing game like Forza or GT Sport. GTA jumped the shark a long time ago so bring on the toys.

I know the second one has NPCs, the girl on the left in the first is def a player and that dress is new, and I think the girl on the right in the first one might also be a player.  but at least one new dress confirmed!  which is good news and might mean more than one.

Agreed. We need some modern Caddies, some old luxury cars and I’d take another Enus while we’re at it. This will be the update that brings more hairstyles if any are planned to do it. Seems like something that would require a bigger update.

Not quite. It would be foolhardy to not allow an exchange back to money as once the casino has run it's course it becomes a dead feature so why have it at all. If a player is to continue to use it between times there must still be something to take from it. Once the wardrobes and garages are full, outside of missions the only thing to go to is something to make money. It won't make big amounts and will probably take your money but with a draw beyond one spin a day on the wheel, the the casino is about as useful as the old one.

Ultimately, what good is a super car when you have an MKII chasing you?  Zero good, that's what.

Not a complaint, just an observation.  I'm looking forward to the new DLC, especially the chance at some new missions.  But come on, the yachts were a huge waste of money, aside from the CEO mission and some free ammo.

I’d like both. I love to collect but I also need something to keep me motivated after I’ve got those vehicles in my collection. New weapons and additions to combat or even new missions will do that for me, as I still love a good dogfight or tank battle.

PENTHOUSE PARKING - Space for 10 cars

PARKING GARAGE - Space for X number of cars

Arena works just like that. You can only win AP. And you can't convert them to GTA$. And yes, it is dead end. But it is in the game already, so another dead end is even more likely.

in the scene at the winery there are 4 players, some of the players look the same as the heist crews from the heists and doomsday heists trailers

THAT IS MY POINT. Yes, they are player models. And so is everything else I listed. And guess what? That doesn't f*cking matter.

 

Using player characters is easier than making entire new custom models. This is why R* makes NPCs with them. Since the casino has so many people, it's no surprise they will have just done it the easy way.

 

The clothes on these non-players will likely be exclusive to them. Because that is what R* has done in the past. They make sh*t that fits the player character, adds it to their player-npcs, and then DOESN'T give it to us.

 

I can say with 90% certainty that we are not going to be able to wear those clothes. If we can, it'll be a f*cking miracle, and the complete opposite of R*'s prior patterns.

I'm really glad Rockstar didn't use the real life Casino as inspiration. That one is really bland and generic looking.

So would I but I would be disappointed if I don't get some new stuff for my Toybox in this update.

 

The MkII and Terrorbyte dropped out of nowhere in the AH update (Yes, we knew about them but they had nothing to do with the update) so I hope wee see more fun stuff in this one.

Arena wars, however, is a pvp game that you not only play for ap, but also money. You take something from the game each time. The casino is primarily a money sink with a sideline for winning chips. Like with AP, once that sideline is exhausted then what do you have. Arena still pays out usable cash...Why not the casino through exchanging chips for cash?

@Lazlow.Jones Here's another example. Do these look like players to you? If you were watching this trailer today for the first time, and saw this, you would think these are players. 

 

But they aren't. They are NPCs that looks like players. And they have clothing that we do not.

That one will definitely help if no players weren't helping so call in Bodyguards and pay them for driving to the spot. Have bodyguard take control of your truck's weapon to defend. Like recruitment in old GTA: SA gangs.

 

Especially for armored vehicles they can protect you from being attacked by players, enemies.

Disappointed that there are only ten new garage spaces. Hopefully that's just the default and I can buy more.
