So do you reckon we’ll have to complete these 6 missions every month for a new diamond status reward? Because if not I can’t see why anyone would play them again because personally, they weren’t that fun and the pay was sh*t.

i dont think we are getting new missions every month.

 

and the pay was decent, while i got peasant money 10-15k per mission my brother was getting 10-15k + an extra 50k per mission, by the end of the 6th mission, he got a 500k bonus, he ended up earning close to a million, which is not bad.

Had a momentary tremble of fear when I saw a random on one of those rocket flying bikes.

Got inside safely, overall pretty impressed.

 

I like how cheap the chips are. I only have 700k right now (sold my kuruma), so I was worried.

Spun the wheel, won some RP so I feel some of y'all's pain. Checked out the clothing gallery.

Weird crap mostly, although I wouldn't mind buying some of the more nicely-textured suit jackets.

Didn't get a chance to see some of the business shirts, as I didn't want to change my outfit.

Then I saw the ability to change clothes nearby, which was pretty cool. Then to the slot machines!

 

Played Twilight Knife, won some chips there, then blacked out playing Fame or Shame.

 

I plan on going back to it later tonight, so we'll see.

Tom Connors gave me the feels of guy who is laid back on majority occasions but when the time comes for taking over or creating a backstab he is right there with his crew.. I really thought it would have been much cooler.. Like he takes signatures from us regarding the casino and ends up ganging up with that uncle.. So we crew up and go against him in his empire he has built behind our backs.. And we get to end the mission like Vice City Gonzalez mission killing him inside his home..

After a few days of playing the following stands out for me

 

The limo service is a game changer, I used to travel by cab a lot and it did my head in that I had to keep withdrawing cash to pay for it. The cab drivers are also terrible but this guy is hilarious. He's had it on it's roof so many times and his cursing amuses me.

 

The car service is also great. To make a nightclub sale I just fast travel to LSIA and get a Diamond or Windsor to take me around the corner to the club.

 

I've bought all the artwork i want from this batch so I'm buying chips as often as possible to build up a stock, currently at 1.2M. It will also do for a piggy bank and I noticed that I can cash the whole lot out in one go once the dripfeed it finished.

 

Disappointed there isn't more garage space, I like the layout and wish we'd got several floors of them.

 

Clothes are just freaky and basically the whole lot are for the squeakers. That's a shame, i fancied some new suits that don't have drainpipe trousers and look like throwbacks to the 1970s. Who wants to look like a pipecleaner avatar?

 

80RR is awesome around town though not that fast to race. Drafter sounds beautiful. Thrax is actually pretty quick and only a second off my lap records for Downtown Loop and Raton in the Deveste Eight, but it feels slow, so it's a bit dull for me. Carra - meh it's a Sandking on steroids, doesn't need to exist. Issi is pretty good fun but it fills the same need as the GB200 and both are not required, so the GB went.

 

Overall, very pleased to have some luxury property and glad this will negate a Mansions DLC. The houses would have been great but the access roads are awful and crash-city so this is better for someone who travels everywhere at harry-flatters speed.

 

It's renewed my love for the game which was really waning.

Broughy does what he does but stunt races are another matter. Will enjoy the next double week, seeing if PBs fall.

 

Ironically though most of my PBs are in a broughy special, X80 on offroads. People underestimate how much weight matters when half the track is uphill.

 

 

btw I've been not-hosting some casino missions just to play them and help out the hosts, and people keep asking how to spawn personal aircraft in them, so;

 

1. Have a PV on the (freeroam) map before you start the mission

2. Start the mission, get into the handy limo to your left, drive a short distance and spawn your aircraft.

It’s a bit of a shame they don’t have Craps or Baccarat. Baccarat is the classic high roller game, popular in American and continental casinos alike for decades. And Craps is THE game of chance, rivalling Roulette. It’s a helluva lot more popular than 3 card poker, at least.

Ok, i'm not following this thread but, here's what i say about this dlc:

a) For me, it's almost just a dlc that brought new cars...bcz i can't gamble...the thing is that my country Portugal allows gamble, it just needs to be regulated. It only would toke R* to pay for a license and we would be free to go, it's not like some countries where gambling is forbidden no matter what, so there's a solution for the portuguese players...but, greedy as they are at R*, i don't see that coming, despite the fact there's a petition about that already, which you can see here and sign if you want to help us... ---» https://www.change.org/p/parlamento-de-portugal-liberação-de-todos-os-conteúdos-da-dlc-do-casino-em-grand-theft-auto-online-em-portugal

 

b) I can't understand why even the free decoration items are unavailable, R* made like one "apartheid" vibe in this dlc for more than 50 countries! If we couldn't not gamble, at least would it hurt just let us grab the daily free chips and earn them in the free mode missions or at the very least charge us money for the new clothes, masks and decorations for the penthouse? And i don't know what's the difference in the fortune wheel of the casino and the arena one...it's the same mechanic and the arena wheel is far more "addictive" bcz you can play as many times you want and the casino one you can only spin once per day.

 

c) The cars are good and some 3 or 4 are meme vehicles, which is not a bad thing...but i felt the absence of the RX-7 and a normal version of the zr-380...maybe in a future tuners dlc perhaps?

 

d) The lack of new weapons...really? We can more or less build a ninja outfit in the game. Check. We got a new action for the players named "karate". Check. So, where's the katana?! xD I don't know but i'm feeling that the december dlc will be a small one like Arena War, and i will bet that the theme will be "zombies". Which makes a lot of sense for the addition of the katana, flamethrower, chainsaw and shovel to the game.

 

e) I felt the lack of a new bussiness...i thought that the pc of our office in the penthouse would at least have an option of centralize all of our bussiness management, but it's just a normal pc with just internet acesibility.
