Bring back post editing for new users.

It's basically what the title says. I don't get why this forum doesn't allow the posts of new users to be edited.

It doesn't combat spammers, it only annoys new users into using the forum.

 

I visit other forums than this one, and they ALL allow new users to edit their posts. Why not here?

 

Yes I know that if you post more then you can get the ability of editing posts, but I don't post much in this forum. Why I need to be "crippled" than the rest of the users? What's the (useless) idea behind this?
