meem Posted July 14, 2019 Share Posted July 14, 2019 (edited) I have set my settings.xml of GTA V (Steam version) to Read Only because of some graphical tweaks and I don't want GTA V to alter it. But a lot of times the Read Only was set to off but I did not do that. Took me a while to discover that OpenIV is the culprit. I set settings.xml to Read Only in Windows Explorer. But when I run OpenIV 3.1 (in non Edit mode, I do nothing, just running the program) and then close it again, then settings.xml is not Read Only anymore. Does anybody know if this is by design or a bug? For me it is really undesirable because I set it to Read Only on purpose.
