GTATHUG77 Posted April 20, 2003 Share Posted April 20, 2003 i have 2 annoying stories, get this lvl 9: i'm thinking hey this isn't so bad, i'm starting to get the hang of this and then i get to the 3rd last guy on the level with 2:10 to spare without picking him up and i'm thinking sweet, this is easy and then i drive up to where the marker is on the minimap and i realize with a sense of dread THAT THE GUY IS ON THE ROOF OF THE BUILDING. he jumps down to get in da ambulance and kill himself as he jumps from the roof and lands on the top of the ambulance LVL11. I was doing the missions in ocean beach for the time advantages, i soon found out that longer time meant more distance to travel. arrrggg anyway the 2nd guy on lvl 11 is somewhere south so i drive south and south and south and finally see him. HE'S IN THE MIDDLE OF THE PEDESTRIAN BRIDGE. the ambulance is to big to fit on the brigde and for him to get in at the same time and he is too far away in da middle of the bridge to simply run to the ambulance. i was pissed, all i could do was sit there and watch my time meter run out. YES AMBULANCE MISSIONS ARE A b*tch SOMETIMES, but i think that if you don't get annoying things like that, they are kinda fun after a while and you get used to the ambulance and realise it's not really that bad a vehicle once you know what it can handle and how to counter it from tipping over. Small_Fryz Posted April 21, 2003 Share Posted April 21, 2003 i did the ambos mission second time the first time i got to level 4 and ran over a guy but after that it was soo easy. i think the firetruck mission was the hardest although once i figured out how to do it it wasnt that hard. One the one hand on the first island with beach, tere are dunes and u cant see most of the patients, and the sand slows u dow if ur at a standing start. And on the other, the island with airport, its renauned for people in impossible pick up places. And some peds have the nack of jumping infront of ur car and getting killed, that happened to me on the last patient on the 12th level after delivering all the others, and guess what, it was right around the corner from the f*cking hospital. Today I decided to do some paramedic missions, and got to lvl 10... reversed over a patient... I think I wrecked mt pad in frustration! Well... gotta start all over again. Normaly I'm a mad driver... umm, let me put it this way, I beat my own 2 wheels time record everytime I do the paramedic missions.
