Rank All The Main GTA Protagonists In Terms Of Fighting. (GTA Online Protagonists Are Optional)

Idk who would be better out of Niko and Vic. Both were soldiers, but Niko being a child soldier would not have received proper training and his skills would've most probably come out of his experience. Vic underwent training, but never saw action. Huang Lee knows martial arts, but he's too brawny to stand a chance against anyone above.

Probably Niko, given the fact that he fought in a war. Not to mention his counters.

Fist Fight? It's between Niko and CJ. Niko would probably win out though.

Gun Fight? Michael Stomps. He could honestly headshot everybody.

All Out War? GTA Online Character not even close, his/her Technology and Resources destroy everything and everyone.

Big Mouth Prick Bellic.

EDIT: Don't know why I misread this as "Best GTA protagonist". It's especially ironic that I've already posted my point of view in relation to this thread before.

Not probably. Niko would smash the little busta.

Its hard to say, CJ can learn multiple fighting styles and Niko could go toe to toe against Jason Statham...

I would go with the douchebags in V because they have heat seeking missiles embedded deep in their fists, that would explain the ridiculous teleporting haymaker they can do.

sh*t that's a tough one.

I would go for Niko because of his military training.

But I wont

I think that Tommy Vercetti would actually beat his ass.

Every time that I play VC I am impressed by Tommys karate. It is not as refined as Nick Kangs moves in True Crime but very impressive still.

My uncle once said that man who hits woman is weaker than woman. Tommy never hit a woman so I would say he is tougher than Niko or Luis.

I mean Luis never does either and Niko only did it once to Gracie to knock her annoying ass out

Lmfao at the second part of your comment forgot about their sliding haymaker.

Tommy did shoot quite a few women in Hit the Courier lol. But it was self defense in a fair fight so justified.

Luis also knocked Gracie out because she was annoying him. I think when Niko did it it was kind of justified to keep both of them safe in the car/prevent her from crashing it. He did also slap her when he took her picture though. To me that was kind of bad not so much because she was a woman but because she was an innocent and tied up. Niko is gentlemanly most of the time but probably less so than Tommy. I think that while Niko is the most morally aware the moral code Tommy goes by (mafia I guess) is probably stricter than Niko's or Luis's.

Not sure this really plays into how good they are as fighters though, they didn't hit women in a fight situation.

Fist fight or gunfight?

If the former then I think CJ would win it. I mean, you could learn him new moves. If the latter: GTA Online Protagonist or, if I had to stick to SP characters, Carl once again.

I would have it down between Niko and Luis.

Niko knows krav maga and he has wartime experience. So he's tough, experienced and trained

Luis has experience in underground cage fighting so he's experienced and tough.

Toughness, experience and training > experience and toughness so I go with Niko.

I don't think any of the other characters have the experience, training or toughness in regards to hand-to-hand as those two. Some are saying CJ based on the fact that he can learn boxing, muay thai or kung fu at various gyms but that's entirely up to the player, I don't think it's canon that he learns any martial art during the storyline so I don't give him that edge, he's just a street brawler.

I considered Vic briefly in that he has to have at least some training in hand-to-hand being in the army and all but I didn't add him for the following reasons:

1. the U.S. h2h combat systems aren't as well regarded as East European systems (a lot of samboists do well in mma for example) or krav maga which is, as far as I remember, Niko's system.

2. Vic never served in combat while Niko had.

3. Vic doesn't have experience in any sort of combat sport while Luis obviously did.

I honestly would have CJ as a tougher fight than Vic based purely on his experiences growing up in the streets, and that goes for Claude, Tommy and the rest. The real darkhorse would probably be Huang because, I guess, canonically he is trained in some martial arts although I don't think it was specified (some kind of kung fu?) and being a lifelong triad from HK he probably has tons of street fighting experience.

1. Vic Vance

2. Niko Bellic

3. CJ

4. Luis Lopez

5. Trevor Philips

6. Michael De Santa

7. Johnny Klebitz

8. Tommy Vercetti

9. Claude

10. Franklin Clinton

11. Toni Cipriani

1. Niko

2. CJ

3. Victor

Both Niko and Vic had training in the army. CJ has learned three different fighting styles from the best gyms in San Andreas.

4. Luis

5. Huang

Luis is the underground cage fighting champion in Liberty City. Huang Lee is proficient in martial arts and has "good legs".

6. Trevor

7. Franklin

8. Michael

These three are all pretty equal, but Trevor has the highest strength stat and he has unique moves in his rage mode. Franklin has more stamina and is more fit than Michael, and was shown to overtake him in Ending B.

9. Toni

10. Tommy

11. Johnny

12. Claude

These guys don't really show much skill in hand-to-hand combat compared to the others. Toni seems like he'd be the strongest, he's a debt collector and gives off a rather intimidating aura around others.

Lol just a little funny thing does not anyone see any familiar with Niko and the UFC heavyweight champions Stipe Miocic?

Both chased the american dream and now he has it "you could say Miocic is american" but abit croatian almost similar as Niko but not really. They had the same haircut lol

Niko has a strong russian accent while Stipe has a strong mumbling accent

Niko/Trevor/CJ I can't really choose because Trevor's a psychopath and he literally clapped Johnny first time we played him in GTA V.

I have a good feeling that all those I mentioned above have a crazy pain tolerance so yeah.

Funfact: One of the TV hosts for 'The Men's Room', Bas Rutten, help did the motion capture for Niko's fighting moves. He's a former UFC Heavyweight Champion.

1-Vic

2-Niko ( all of GTA 4 protagonists since they share the same fighting style)

3- Ultimate Chad CJ

4- Huang Lee

5- Tommy

6- Claude

7- Toni

And I am lazy to think about the GTA 5 Trio

Outside gameplay though, they are different from each other: Niko is skilled in military and Luis is a cage fighter.

The ability to grab opponents by a collar and throw them to their death is the thing that really should return, IMO. Out of all GTA titles, this is possible only in VCS.
