Anybody else had all 5 on the go?

So I'm recovering from illness and also trying to use the internet a bit less to see if it helps my mood.

I decided to fire up my PS2, and started fresh 100% attempts on all 5 3D era GTA games. When I get stuck or bored of one I switch to another. Or sometimes a totally different game, but mainly one of the 5. Has anybody else done this before?  Or I am just a complete loser lol.

I would find it hard to do this just because when I start playing one I get obsessed with it lol. I'd probably do them strictly one after the other. Sounds fun though, going back and completing a GTA game (or five) again never gets old.

Yeah I can see that happening to me, I hit 70% on Vice City the other day so maybe I'll stick with that a little longer.

I did 2 days ago. But I only completed the storyline.

Can't get enough of the 3D universe. Have them all on PS2, two on PSP, and mobile.

All 5 at once?  No but I like to do a GTA series playthrough, especially from VC onwards (GTA 3 is a bit too tedious with mute Claude and very difficult missions). I have played VC, SA, IV and V many times. Overall great games that hold up well

I'd recommend a skip on III as you're missing nothing really.

LCS doesn't bring much to the table, but I'd recommend you give it a try.

Definitely play SA, VC and VCS. They are the top games of the 3D Era.

The only GTA title I completed up to %100 is probably The Lost and Damned, which is just an expansion pack after all. I'm not into %100 completions to be honest, especially since many of the required tasks are tedious, and take too long as well. I'd rather start up the storyline again or spend some time causing random mayhem.

Unfortunately though, I never had the chance to complete the story of GTA Vice City. It introduced me to the series when I was around 7 years old, but I moved to San Andreas just too quickly. I finished its storyline, then finished Vice City Stories' as well. I played Liberty City Stories, but it wasn't really a big deal. Didn't feel disappointed that I didn't complete its story. Later on, I got my hands on the mobile port of GTA III just when it got released in 2011, finished its story and collected the hidden packages.

GTA III deserves more love, it might look ancient today but there simply was no better alternative back in 2001-02. It was the best thing ever when I was a kid until Vice City arrived.

All five 3D games are worth replaying and all the HD era games as well, but I always stick with one at a time to not overburden myself, lol.

I'm doing all of them as I love them all, even with the flaws! III was my first taste of 3D GTA and I loved it. Skipping school that one day really got me hooked!

I got 100% in IV, TLAD & TBOGT (TLAD was my first ever 100% game!) but not V, I may go back to my PS3 after all these 5 are either finished or I give up!

Seriously, if you wanna play Vice City's story and nothing else it's amazing just for that. I would love to  have the chance to play it for the first time again!

III gets less love yeah, but if you are just playing story it's fairly decent. My only trouble is I have to do 2 rampages and possibly paramedic level 12 before moving on with the story!

5 at once may be too much but I take regular breaks, sometimes days at a time.

Glad I ain't the only one who still uses his ps2. How old is yours? Mine's gotta be about 18 years old by now.

I'm not sure, probably at least 10-15 years old. I regretted selling my original one as a teenager, so bought this one and it still works fine.

Definitely do this. That sh*t is a cure to everything, I tried it before, and am trying to stay away from the internet when at home. Huge mood boost.

I started 5 on my PS2 last summer actually (and here I was saying that I would never buy a console), but to be fair playing them all at once just didn't feel right. I've been playing SA since then, and once I beat it I will eventually move to the others.

One at a time seems better, especially now I'm stuck in VCS on that bloody zero to hero mission.

I spend most of the time on VC, beat the story and at 70% now, so will continue that soon.
