Sorry, yeah you're right, there's a free one in the catalogue but it looks like you need to claim it actually in game rather than on social club

Currently I have two emotes going for free in my catalog “the bow” one, and it may have already been free because I never check the emoji’s, but the “throat slit” emote is also free in mine
