Which is better? GTA San Andreas or RDR2

RDR2 feels repetitive after finishing the game 1-2 times! Finished GTA SA more than 10-15 times before GTA IV ... and still I play it! I lost the count!

RDR2. Why would I prefer a game from 2005 with late-90's graphics? If the map was slightly smaller, hell, even a PS1 would have supported it.

 

Y'all choosing that over a game with superior graphics, interactive content, great storyline and an open dynamic world are just dwelling in nostalgic despair. It's time to move on

While RDR2 is an exceptional piece of work on its own but when comparing to GTA SA, it is not that special for 2018. 

What GTA SA has achieved in 2004 is legendary and honestly the game still holds up to this day. There is no comparison. But Arthur Morgan is better than CJ I do admit but then considering what they did to John Marston, it's hard to compare in this department too.

Damn... my two favourite games.. It's really hard for me to choose one over the other.. Relative to its generation though, San Andreas is my go-to. The pinnacle of the Gta series(to me).A mind-blowing masterpiece that people still love and play & mod till this day, like, come on... a great story, memorable characters, a ton of things to do, customizable/roleplaying elements, and a beloved protagonist. Even recent games are struggling to match that game made since 2004. That's how good it is.

But RDR2 is on a level of its own... No game has ever gotten me as immersed in its world as that game has. The attention to detail is unmatched.... Brilliant storyline that had me emotional when Arthur had his last ride.... The only game that made me feel bad for killing NPCs.... Graphics that @ times make the game insanely photorealistic... Your Actions in the world impacting how other characters interact with you and lightly shaping the story... Helluva lot of activities like in SA.... Arguably one of the best games ever and in my top 5 games of all time along with San Andreas, Portal 2, Forza Horizon 4 & BioShock Infinite.

In short,

GTASA - 9.5/10

RDR2 - 10/10

Both games will stand the test of time.

I will go with RDR2 solely bcuz it is more recent and refined game with a better written protagonist, deeper story and more rewarding open world.
