SA XBOX Map Features

This modification includes only the features of the XBOX map. It does not remove some PC objects in contrast to the
original XBOX map. A thorough work was done on finding map objects. Enjoy :)

The "Optional" folder contains my fix for TransFender garage:
   - Rays of light appear between 07:00 - 17:00 (like the old garage in San Fierro)
   - Textures are similar to PS2

To be fair, it does say "it does not remove some PC objects" instead of stating it doesn't remove PC objects. Make of that whatever you want.

 

On topic: I haven't noticed anything being removed with the exception of objects tucked into houses on the PC map.

Relax guys. This is my bad english. It seems it was necessary to describe in more detail immediately. I meant that this mod does not remove objects in contrast to the default XBOX map. Like here:

Object 1 (veg_palmbig14) was very likely part of the beta. Present only on the PC:

Object 2 (LODroadbnj) may also be part of beta. Is a duplicate of LODlaeroad48. Present only on the PC and PS2:

For this reason, ONLY these 2 objects have been removed. In fact, this is a fix that is present on the default XBOX map.

The Lucky Mole

Love the map man. Especially the LV map. Interested for some bugs on the original map that are not fixed by this? I am aware of many map mods (BMW.Sauber's, Z map fixes and PS2 map) but every one of them has it's flaws and doesn't add so many features.

 

I made some fixes. SFw.ipl, vegasE.ipl, vegasE.ide based on your map and a model. Interested in including them here?

Comparison? I know the PC model has broken night vertex colors but I'm pretty sure Xbox is using the same model as PS2, and probably already included here.

EDIT: I converted the Xbox model to PC and it's the same, seems like a 2DFX effect that couldn't be converted directly. If someone does it, use the PS2 model as Xbox has no vertex prelighting.

 

EDIT2: Went there on PS2 and is the same as PS2 Models mod. That means it's actually a Xbox only model.

That isn't 2dfx effect, that's night vertex color so is pretty easy to replicate it on the PS2 model as the Xbox model has. Probably @Inadequate will be interested on this for the SA PS2 index. Thanks for the comparison, really interesting.

What's the file to use the "window" of the fuel station and the "air-conditioning"??
