gta online freezing PS3

when loading up gta online, the game freezes in the clouds preventing me to do anything including opening the ps3 menu leading me to shut it down. i share the same console w my brother his game loads up perfectly fine so this trips me out. my friend is also having issues loading gta online but hes getting a timed out error. this started happening a couple weeks ago.. any way to fix this?

On PS3 deleting and reinstalling the updates along with clearing the cache like once a month(if you play often) can sometimes help with connection issues like this. There are so many modders and you can end up with many corrupt files or files that are not needed so cleaning that stuff up is good to do every so often.

Also you can try loading up a different or even new story mode save because a bad story mode save file could also cause issues.

3oom5et,...I have this EXACT same problem and PLAYSTATION and ROCKSTAR have been ZERO help,..been 7 days since I  have played,...did you ever figure out the remedy, because I've done EVERYTHING.  Thank you

unfortunately no.. ive contacted rockstar but they were no help. i think a modder in the same game/lobby is to blame theyre known to ban players. we probably pissed one off or whatever but i guess it is what it is.

I've tried this no luck. thanks anyway brother
