bedaso
After I finished the mission Brucie called me that i could do races, and there was that assassin thing on the legend however i do not know if these will progress the story or my save is fecked. I've been stuck for an hour and there's nothing online about this issue. 2 minutes ago, bedaso said: After I finished the mission Brucie called me that i could do races, and there was that assassin thing on the legend however i do not know if these will progress the story or my save is fecked. I've been stuck for an hour and there's nothing online about this issue. I also had another issue where the mission Final Interview never happened, I started the mission, went to the cafe, applied, leaved, got the call that they were no spots available and then the mission ended. Nothing related to it came up after that.

billiejoearmstrong8
I think the Final Interview thing must be the problem. Completing Derrick's missions (which you've done by completing Tunnel of Death), Gerry's missions (Actions Speak Louder Than Words and I Need Your Clothes....) and Francis's missions (of which you have left Final Interview then Holland Nights then Lure) unlocks Francis' final mission Blood Brothers which leads to more missions. So the key is to get to play Final Interview. The Assassinations and Brucie's last two missions don't progress the story (you can actually leave the second part of Out of the Closet and No.1 until after the final mission of the game if you want and Assassinations have no relation to the story) so it isn't to do with them. I believe the way it works is after you get that call saying they don't have slots so they'll get back to you to arrange an interview time, after a certain amount of in-game time they call you again to tell you what time/day to come in and then it's written in your phone organiser and the mission marker will appear at the arranged time. I don't know a fix for this not happening but I can say from replaying missions from different saves a lot that the amount of time this takes to trigger can vary (same with other missions where you have to wait for a phone call), sometimes it's within a few in game hours and sometimes longer. It could also be that you're waiting for other calls to happen (for example have you had a call from Ray and played Florian's missions yet? or got the call from ULP and played Dust Off?) so they're "clogged up" and you just have to spend more time playing the game to get to them all. I would suggest checking the job website again and making sure you applied (and do it again if it lets you) and other than that just doing things to advance time in the game like dying or using the pay n spray (often saving in between the different parts is what makes the mission phone calls take longer but if you've already done it could try saving to advance time more too). And sometimes changing into smart clothes can get things going I find. Just keep playing the game and letting/making time pass and hopefully you'll get the call to arrange the interview, I've had times when mission phone calls have taken a long time too but they always happened eventually for me at least. I've died and used pay and spray multiple times and it never did anything, alongside I only have one save. And how do I go to the job site and reapply if it lets me? I can't find the lawyer's advertisement in the homepage, is there a special website to go to? Also a possible issue is that I froze the games time with a trainer, I'll see if disabling fixes it first then follow whatever you'll say next. 1 minute ago, bedaso said: I've died and used pay and spray multiple times and it never did anything, alongside I only have one save. I've unfreezed it and changed it to sync with system time, i got flooded with messages and a call, however not with the Interview thing yet. I just mean check that you completed the first part of the mission (applying), I'm assuming you probably have but you could go back to the website and see if the option of applying when you click on "careers" is still there or if it says there's no positions at this time (which would confirm you applied). I think if you got that first phone from the lawyers you must have done it though. Other than saving/pay n spray etc have you just played the game much after the first part of Final Interview? I think sometimes it just takes time to get to all the story related phone calls between missions. So while advancing time can help to an extent you also just have to play the game and exist in free mode long enough to get all the phone calls you're owed. If you go immediately from mission to mission or activity to activity or saving etc very quickly without much time in free mode in between it can mean there isn't much chance to get the phone calls in. So it's just a case of carrying on playing the game until you get it. If there's some other issue affecting it I can't help but that's how it's worked for me. billiejoearmstrong8
That's good! Sounds like you're getting all the phone calls you need, fingers crossed for the Final Interview one

Lesson Learned: Don't freeze time if you have a trainer just because you like the orange fuzzy color scheme of the morning. billiejoearmstrong8
