I made over 100k too. Anyone looking to rank up can come away with some insane RP this week. I think I got 30k RP, if iirc.

 

The time trial may be double but for me it's not worth the time to keep attempting it. However last time I didn't restart the app at the end of the week, and I managed to get 100k on the really easy time trial that followed.

I think I already had it. But having unlocked so many items of clothing over the years on two accounts it's hard to tell, especially when it comes to items like this that I won't actually wear. I need to update my GTAO spreadsheets.

Yeah, the hoodie is one from all the way back to Bikers. As much of a soft-spot I am for that update and lover of every reference possible towards it, it's still kinda lame.

 

As for myself, I'm thinking of making a comeback this week and just hit the hardtop and have some good time racing. Being free of taking this game seriously actually allows me to have some fun for once. Let's go.

I seriously need to with my cars, lol. I'll take this as a timely reminder before things get busy. But yeah, new clothing is the first item on the agenda with these weeks, I know I'll forget if a 2x suits me and I get stuck in and there's nothing worse than logging off for the evening and realising you need to jump on for 10 seconds to nab something up.

One thing I love so much about the game now is having checked so much off 'that' list of things to do in game, with a healthy stash ready for all but the very worst case scenario is just how free I am at the moment.

 

I love a good challenge, especially the GTA challenges of a much more varied game, but this is one really took it up a notch, lol.

Bonus for racing should help the grind for casino dlc cash be a bit more enjoyable, even as rusty as i am. Unfortunately, after a year and a half absence from the game, i don't have any of the new toys. So all the SSASSS racing will be stock model loaners for me unless i buy something.

 

Also, since they don't seem to show race leaderboards on rockstar social club anymore (?), can anybody tell me what the go-to super and sport cars are for stunt racing these days? I'm seeing a lot of people using the deveste eight and the pariah. I don't think buying a new car for a few more race wins is worth it, even for double $, but i'm curious.

I can't believe the amount of people moaning about how awful every event week is, every week!

 

There's a new DLC on the way, so what are Rockstar supposed to do in the meantime? Nothing? Sometimes I give up with this forum and the negative entitlement.

 

This week is about racing. OK, Rockstar could give 2 X or 3 X payouts on standard races instead of on their meme versions, but the Hotring Racer and the Weeny Issi Classic are awesome cars to own, customise and drive. Even the RC Bandito is great fun.

It's an alright event week for me as I like racing and like the NASCAR-esque Hotring races. I wish they'd expand the bonuses to user made races as well though. That way playing the Hotring tracks based on real superspeedways is more profitable and fun since those would surely be packed if they were on promotion. Wish for an option to decline the rp bonus or opt to have whatever rp I earned go into the cash I won since being near level 700 tends to get me kicked from many lobbies.

@Jenkiiii I think you answered your question. It’s a meh week that could have been easily been good by simply expanding bonuses to standard or stunt races. Hell, they even discounted a couple of nice supers.

 

It’s par for the course really. I fully expect heavy sales soon to entice spending before the casino opens. We’ve probably seen all of the best money making opportunities that we’re going to get for awhile.

I do have the game for PS4 as well lol I just switched back to Xbox because the solo public method was much more reliable for me. Changing my MTU didn’t make much difference on PS4

Also, why no double payouts on all races? There are far better races out there than R*s. It gets boring to drive them over and over again.

 

So, solo racing payout for a 8 min race is $8.400. 3 times is $25.200. 1h ~ 6 races (w/ loading time) = $151.200 per hour

Idk, I find Issi & RC races quite boring.
