We still have the vehicle figurines that still haven't been released. How could these be implemented? Makes me wish for a vehicle heist of some sort, much more complex in design than the I/E business. You'd be getting those figurines by successfully selling a car in mint condition, or other condition.

 

In fact, a Midnight Club-like update can be somehow combined with a car heist ring.

For some people, yes. But it will introduce grind, toxic community and other signature R* stuff to even more people. If the next iteration will be online-centered, I'm out. R* can't make multiplayer games properly, they are just milking dumbed down SP world during these years.

What are you playing? THAT would be fun as all Hell to play, GTA Online as it is is a Domestic War Crime Simulator, full of wannabe mid 2000's emo edgelord kids having seizures with automatic sniper rifles and pointlessly raining down hell on anything that moves with impossible to dodge missiles and explosive cannons.

 

Friendly Fire Lobbies like in GTA4, put them in Online and you'll finally have the online mode that was advertised back in 2013.

I think it would be fun just for the game mode alone. I can’t imagine entire lobbies centered around it with the Mk.II still existing. They’d have to get rid of special vehicles in general. 

 

And besides, I think it’d be pretty kickass to have police variants of some old and new muscle cars. They could even get away with an NFS-style racing adversary mode. Have the cops chasing after drivers, and if the drivers are pinned against a wall or stay under a certain speed for too long, they’re busted.

As it’s double money I filled up my cocaine business. Came to delivery and obviously it was 3 x postal vehicles. Found a new session to avoid it and lost $100k ish and postal again and again so 3 times I found a new session and 3 times it was the postal vans, lost $300k ish so just turned it off.

 

why I even bothered with this rubbish mc hillbilly crap I’ll never know.

Hey guys, been a while. I noticed at the bottom of the newswire it states "Look out for more details in the coming weeks on future updates to GTA Online". Is this talking about an actual DLC, or is this just referring to weekly bonuses and discounts?

Earliest most relevant mention/hint I can remember is Fun wishing for a, in his words, Vespucci Job Mk2.

 

Past few pages have been split between;

- Cops and Crooks due to Yan and Mach's posts

OR

- Full-blown Aliens and UFO's, although that seems to stem from the fact that Rockstar have given away the Alien suits for free this week, rather than the Doomsday Heist leaving Cliffford's status as Unconfirmed and his troops still being active in LS.

 

I'm open to the idea that IF you're willing to believe in conspiracies, Rockstar socially engineered the Alien Muggings to see if it would kick off in the community as a "wildfire prologue" that would lead up to the release of an Alien Invasion update, which then mutated into the Alien Gang Wars which by now has degenerated into countless new wannabe tryhards using it as an excuse to mass murder with the OppMk2 and Hydra.

I like this. It would be a great way to show off new highly customizable vehicles through the heist, which could generate interest in said vehicles from those playing a car theft ring heist. It could also be an opportunity to update customization options on other long neglected vehicles like the Vigero, Phoenix, Kuruma, Stanier, Stallion, etc.

Yes it's odd.. I noticed alien related stuff for sale in the R* warehouse. T shirts and such, I wonder how long they have been there?
