It’s sometimes there...just like how there are different variations on locked doors and enemy locations etc

I've had that too, my guess it has to be one of these or something like it;

- dependant on how often you're doing the Heist

- dependant on guard placement

- dependant on how much prep work you did

- utterly random

 

What could be a cool detail that I doubt is in the code is if you can call in the Cleaning Service to your Penthouse and launch the Heist before she finishes, it removes the cart from the finale.

Sometimes appears, some dont. But the heists are full of bags, from being stuck while leaving the arcade up to the noose van in the right side of the exit door of the casino that sometimes smash the noose office, lol, sometimes he dies, sometimes it just slightly hits him and then, when he raises agains, he spots the players.

That would be a nice dynamic indeed. I was my first run in a good few weeks too, but I'll keep tabs on what we do in future runs in case we see any obvious signs of ways to mix it up. Thanks. :)

Yeah, the stealthy way can be a real bastard sometimes. Just like Deliver EMP, I've often said 'I got this' and something bugs out, lol. Crazy game!

Doesn't anyone find it funny that Geralds new missions specifically mention a recession coming to Los Santos? Seems a little too cryptic and specific for some throw away filler missions. I wonder if its a hint to the next DLC. Perhaps more Mad Max/Apocalypse vehicles.

It originally said “Yo, got something for you. Things are heating up in the Hills. Usual gang and drug bullsh*t. Help me out with this and I'll make it worth your while. G.”

There's a (relatively) new value in the handing files called fToeFront.

 

Tulip: 0.07

Asbo, Kanjo, Deviant, Vamos, Nebula Turbo: 0.05

Arena Slamvan: 0.03

Arena Dominator: 0.025

ZR380: 0.02

Arena Issi, Issi Classic, Issi Sport, Dominator GTX, Hotring Sabre, Cheburek: -0.01

Ellie: -0.012

Flash GT: -0.015

 

Some others have 0.

 

But the Tulip is "nicer" to handle than the Vamos despite having a higher Toe. So other values factor into the left/right steering as well, like vecInertiaMultiplierZ and fSteeringLock.

Lol. It was all over the place at one time. Saw them live in 'Soufend' once too. 

 

I'm easy to please in that genre though, DnB/Jungle/Hardcore too. Give me some Suburban Base or Kniteforce stuff any day. Or do it right, R*, if ya reading, and tap up Liam for some old Prodigy bangers, lol.

DJ Hype's remix of RIP is an absolute favourite here. Love the wobble in that baseline!

Ah, but it's not just the intro text message that reference's a recession, both the mid-mission texts and the mission flavour texts make reference to it. Granted, they could change all that at the very last minute, being able to read the unused message again, I doubt they actually had to change up the "story" much, if at all aside from adding foreboding presence of an incoming economic slide.

I wouldn't speculate a real world economic recession effecting the entire theme of an update for a live-service game that takes place in "reality", especially given that full-on proper no nonsense lockdowns didn't start happening until March in the west, it'd be a little late for Rockstar to start changing the chosen theme of the update, given all the research and development of idea's that has to go into game production as well. This is something that no one has been through ever in recent human history on such a global scale.

 

Consider more just Rockstar's way of acknowledging the corona crisis, and that we're all effected... even criminal's like Gerald, the Balla's, the Vago's. In terms of the actual update... given the scheduling concerning the actors probably getting screwed and put on hold until much, much later than usual, they could slip in references to a recession but I doubt it'll effect the pricing much.

 

Although if you really wanna talk about Apocalypse vehicles... wasn't there bits of code found back in 2018/early 2019 that hinted towards more vehicles being added into Arena War?

Tapepacks for me, lol. I had so many that have found their way into my lads room. Usually I'd not be too keen to hear the noise coming out of his pitt, but once I realised he's into good stuff, we bought him a loud stereo so he can enjoy it right. 🤣

 

@RyuNova. If we're talking potential new apocalypse stuff, I really hope R* add/tweak the arena or at least create new VIP jobs that give arena points. I'd love to reach the top of that ladder, but as it is now, ain't happening. 😭

Imagine vip job including the cerberus, each checkpoint Will be like make 15 npcs extra crispy!!!, Like kill frenzy from GTA 2 :sigh:, give a decent pay like 250/500 AP points, not that difficult.

Damn, you just reminded me of seeing the word "RAMPAGE", appear on the screen in a completely unsuspecting Strangers & Freaks mission for Trevor and the burst of nostalgia that brought from the 3D era, seeing Rockstar bring back such an arcadey side mission without warning, but actually incorporating it into a character, not just have it as a random skull pickup hidden in an alley.

That was even more unexpected to see them literally give our online characters Trevor's Special Abilty (god, those were such a big thing when V first came out) via a single weapon. I remember speculating when the Casino Store was announced to have "limited luxury items" , or whatever the term was, thinking it'd be their chance to put in something like a legendary katana that gave us increased jump height and sprint speed.
