Yup that would be another insta-buy for me.

 

It’s a little surprising we haven’t got more cars from GTA IV over the years. They give us so many cars that it would pretty easy to include some old ones.

Best thing about Toros is it handles like a sports car. Every other sports SUV feels like a fast brick on wheels If we got a Trackhawk I'd like to think it'd kick its ass out a lot.

With the initial Casino update, the in-world entry fee for just the Casino itself was a mere $500. If they were feeling brave and were able to pull it off without ruining all the code, a $50,000 smartphone could sort out some major UI limits the base game phone has and leave the door open for new gameplay features. Give themselves more than one space to put an extra app rather than the situational mess the SecuroServ App slot currently is.

folders alone would help, have a folder for all the businesses, and have a folder for settings, camera, and web browser, that setup would free up 2 slots right there, and has the added benefit of working like the MCT only in your pocket.  also add a media player to the utilities folder with the camera and settings so we can listen to music on foot

If you own the MCT, Lester installs a mobile version app. Boom, Ultimate MCT without removing the 1.7m paywall R* have in place.

I will not believe for a second that R* will release anything that is worth 50k unless it is a jewelry piece or a bottle of champagne. Full, functional phone for the players for that money? Fuggedaboutit. To buy the phone you need to purchase a chain of luxury shops, hire some salesmen, deliver the van from Paleto and steal the silicon from Zancudo, while being chased by Avon clones on your way back with a semi and no ability to call Lester. After that, some setup missions to get more materials, then you can research the phone by outsourcing it to some shady engineers in exchange for killing some Merryweather, Avons, Professionals, Vagos, corrupt cops, Russian hackers, Chinese hackers and who knows who else.

 

Not to mention that this phone will introduce at least 1 blackscreen, 1 duplication glitch that will be patched in next 48 hours, several god mode and off-radar glitches and possibly decrease fps or despawn traffic. Missions that you will join from this phone will be glitched too, of course. R* will try to fix it in a couple of months and meanwhile people will learn how to glitch the old phone back and cheaters will manage to brick the remote SP game by spawning the new phone.

I have some ideas that could be added.

 

The first idea is to add a new application "Favourite Contacts"; to your phone. You will be able to upload your most frequently used contacts to your favorite contacts.

 

The second idea is to add a new option to the settings on your phone. This option would allow you to set up applications on the screen to your convenience.

 

The third idea is to add new pages for apps on your phone, so there is more room for more apps.

 

The fourth idea is different options for the appearance of the phone.

 

And the ones I mentioned, I'd really like them to be added to GTA 6.

I just want new ringtones like in GTA IV.

I really hope the next game isn’t as fragile as Fallout 76. The more I listen to speculation and hear people talk about how this or that will break the game, I wonder how we made it this far. 

 

Anyways, when should we lose hope for an update?

Well the current 'next' game is RDO and it is not really looking promising. Hell, from the look of it I may never play online there, unless I am extremely bored, but that is getting harder by days.

I haven’t even touched the story at all. I only played the online with a friend carrying me through Madam Nazar collectibles.

 

@Geisterfaust Loved your comment. IF they were to release an updated phone that gives you an ultimate MCT, I’m sure they’ll take the same approach as Apple and overprice the phone to, let’s say, $2,300,000. They won’t at this point.

You know, there's a grand split between the old bangers, hypercars and off-road/SUV's being extraordinarily faithful to their real-world counterpart and what we have enough of. I am NOT a car guy, I can't look at a car from the front and tell you it's a Jaguar XJ-2590 Turbo iS Crescendo from 1997, outside of the logo and name, the only way I can identify a car by it's general aesthetic it's known for, (Audi's look like a displeased can of soup, Lamborghini's are impersonating a jet fighter, Jaguars look their doing the Thomas O Face, etc).

 

And I'm thinking, are things aligning correctly for a Tuners update to be a... well, tuners... version of Lowriders?

 

There's that famous Tuners and Outlaws fake trailer that kids to this day think its real when they find it, and always I thought, there's no way we'll get anykind of detailed performance tuning outside of buying faster engines and better brakes we've had since base game, they'd have to completely reprogram how vehicles function, a full 100% new code. But with the OWR, if Downforce from custom body parts, Traction via tire choice and well timed turbo boosts is R*'s way of going about it this late into GTA Online... so long as they can give the Vehicle Artists the opportunity to give each car that's "starring" it's own truly unique library of custom parts that make them stand out... hey, consider me officially open for a Tuners update now.

 

A cool way I would go about it is instead of having a bunch of linear missions about trying to help the ever scheming and ego-maniacal Lamar get to the top, have Johnny on the Spot (if they can get his voice actor back) call us up and mention an underground street racing circuit he's in the know about, suggest if we want to get involved we buy a lockup (with a forged signature) to store and customize our Tuners at. The mission strand would have one time rewards like the Casino Penthouse Storyline, in the form of One-Free Token to purchase a specific upgrade as the over-arcing plot would be about building up our first car, Grease style, i.e. Mission 1, steal a specific "starter" car that becomes a personal vehicle everyone will have the same one, Mission 2, steal parts, Mission 3, steal a Nitros system, Mission , more interesting stuff etc.

You forgot to mention that all of them will have the same busted, overpowered and nonsensical aimbot accuracy, even when it makes zero sense in most of them except for maybe, big maybe, Cliffford's clones.

If they don't add a proper garages spaces with the next update... At the very least, up the damn property limit. As much as I hate appartments garages, I'd take that over the dumb crap they're doing right now. If you release 15 cars... add at least 15 PV slots with the DLC.

I wonder when R* will actually go full on and add Orbital cannon that can be used by NPCs in a mission? Or a nuke game mode. I remember one old Half life map where players were able to toggle the nuke button and it was only possible to stay alive for those who have made it in the bunker.
