where did they say this? Smugglers Run got announced one week before release and we had Gunrunning right before it, it was announced right after we got the Ardent which was the last dripfeed car from Gunrunning.

Thats fine but a little update telling us that would be really appreciated. I know R* does not need it but small Devs that have an active presence on their own forums/Social Media giving updates are beloved by their fans for it. Just a little note saying "Trailer delayed while we work some stuff out. Stay tuned" would have been appreciated.

I also think August yeah, September is way too late. besides if they release it in August, the dripfeed will indeed last till the end of the year. Which means they don't have to bother with GTAO until December, and can shift their focus to RDO. Because I think that might get another update later this year.

August launch is basically December for me. Damnnn I never thought it was gonna be like this. Somebody help me forget this DLC exists. I need one them men in black memory wipe machines

Yea it makes sense. A lot of us tried to convince ourselves it'd be July, maybe even June. After that teaser said "later this summer" we already had our answer. Sure they said more details would come, but they always say that. Sometimes the answer to the biggest question is the easiest to answer. 

 

That being said, I am prepared for nothing and expect no form of information until late july. Only  preparation for a August release.

They want time to work on Red Dead & have GTA done with so dripfeed lasts until December. It makes sense.

I love my Ardent, it's a great little car, midnight blue, diamond blue pearl and a chrome set of Cogniscentis (sp) on it. handles well and goes well. Love it. It's everything the Stromberg should have been until they gave it a hook nose and dodgy backside.

No idea why suddenly a lot of people now think the DLC is coming in August. Even if Rockstar were to send the update to Sony/Microsoft today, that still puts us just 2-3 weeks away, not over a month. Unless theres a game breaking bug that's yet to be found, I find it HIGHLY unlikely the update will come in August

I'm with you on that. We probably will get more information in July, I think they will really tease this one as much as they can since it's one of the highest requested themes ever. Not getting off the hype train though, we waited for almost 6 years so an extra month really doesn't do harm

I agree, they will milk this cow as much as they can. Tbh I'm not upset because this is nothing new for them to do. I just got so hyped so early because of the props and the teaser. I am still hyped for it, but it's different when you expect it to launch so close only to realize you have a month and some days more to wait.

Yeah makes total sense for them, no sense for customers. I feel glad for anyone who's life doesnt turn from carefree to hella busy in August. I am not one of those people. The funnest time to enjoy GTAO is when I have no tight schedule. Let alone other games, I generally don't really play anything between August/early December. The very little free time I get goes to stuff like exercise etc. It's a damn shame. I knew I shouldn't have gotten hyped for this dumbass DLC but on the plus side, whenever I return I'll have a lot to return to I guess...

Same hahaha I've never been this hyped for a DLC before  I also can't wait but it's better to expect it later so that we won't be dissapointed when it does come out earlier

Exactly, it's like they release during the worst times. Then they drip feed the best stuff making you wait extra long. I regret getting hyped so early, it was too good to be true.

I highly think that something will get an update in July though, so if it's not the casino it will definitely be the RDO summer update.

Casino has been requested for so long. And these past months i have been on a hiatus from GTA. So when I saw the teaser on twitter I came back here on this forum in anticipation. I couldn't believe it was releasing so soon, man I was so hyped.

This update better be as big and grand as las vegas. With how long we' ve been waiting. The cars the gameplay, everything better be top tier. Because if its not. There will alot of unhappy ppl. Myself included.

We don't even know if R* sent the update to Sony-MS already or not, how do we know such a thing like that? Too much BS floating around since yesterday.

I agree 100% they said it's the best place in LS, so it better live up to its hype. This place better be the top of the line cutting edge luxurious experience. 

 

We haven't had something huge since 2017 Doomsday. They've had a long time on this DLC!

I mean, it would be pretty cool, but honestly again thinking about it, it would make more sense for someone like Yusuf Amir to run a casino. Michael would be there if it was a "Casino Heist", probably.
