Was never a fan of the curb boosting side to racing to begin with, and since tried and learned I'm not great at it, lol.

 

But given the choice, I'd sooner learn to boost than listen to Ellie or my Dom beast struggling. 

 

They sound ill. :(

Anyone whether he/she is plays GTA or not would know that these bugs can hurt the playing experience of the whole playerbase. I hope no one would ever want to play on a build which has critical bugs and glitches.

 

Remember the barmuda triangle thing near paleto bay? That thing was so dangerous though it could be avoided but not going on that route.

 

Now imagine if we get something more harmful than that:

 

1. Like falling below the map every time we try to load up in the casino.

 

2. Just enter and exit the casino and have god mode in you.

 

3. Whenever you try to play a certain thing your money is resetted to 0.

 

4. As soon as you give your car in the valet parking it never again appears in your vehicle list and you 3m is wasted to a tag which was'nt closed.

 

Funny right?

 

I can live without a casino and but with these I(no one) can't.

 

With this in mind I would be cool if we get a fairly stable build in August also.

Exactly !

The barmuda triangle bug that delete/remove any vehicle that goes further north of Paleto Bay wasn't something that could be expected.

If they wait until August, we may get a very good stable build but here's the part where Take-Two comes in.

Take-Two doesn't care about perfect builds, if you come up with a good build that ensure the experience of the player won't have troubles in the casino or won't ruin core features of the game, then you better release the DLC.

Curb boosting can be frustrating but not as frustrating as the SSASSS vehicles was 😉

I don't think we are going to get too much information until we're close to release

that means like a trailer couple of days before release, so more information might take several weeks to come out

Once the (relatively) de-bugged final build of the DLC has been completed, does it have to go back to Sony / Microsoft for re-verification?  Or at that point is it ready to go public at the push of a button?

Take-Two after all is a business, they also can't help it due to the board members, nor can rockstar secretly work on DLC and inform them that the game has critical bugs(yes Rockstar I am telling you to lie)

 

But I am happy that they(Take-Two) wait for a good build before releasing the update(Kudos Activision)

If they have done something critical then yes, if its fairly basic fixes then no.

 

That's what fun said in recent pages.

Once the final build is sent to Sony / Microsoft, then you could say it's finally ready to go public.

They only send it back to Sony / Microsoft if the build that was approved by Sony/MS was bad enough to ruin the player experience.

When it comes to Sony / Microsoft, their priority is the platform over the game.

Have you heard of Anthem ? A while ago, they released a patch that would brick/shut down your PS4

Issues like that is what both Sony / Microsoft are looking for to avoid/fix them.

Means Sony/Microsoft could approve a game that is stable for their own platform but is breaking from its core mechanics?

I don't want to interfere in this thread again, but I need to clarify this:
I wasn't banned.
And I am certainly not that Troll Account that got banned.

 

I will now retrieve from this thread, and keep to the Rockstar Games and GTA Next sections, as those tend to be less toxic(of course not everyone in here is toxic, lots of cool people, just a few more vocal people who are), and I feel like my presence here only causes chaos.

And do you guys, @CoolBroDIVand @Fun 2 knows what pisses me off about this whole bugs and QA testing talks?

 

How hilariously small bugs that are incredibly easy to patch, like the Faction collision issues, the un-hideable Arena War, Simeon's Repos and Martin's Dispatch job blips, the Casco permanent light on tailight, either goes completely unnoticed, or they just won't bother to fix them at all.

 

For example, the permanent light on the Casco is because of a mere typo, the Faction has a flag that it shouldn't have because that should be exclusive to low riders, all they have to do is open its handling files and remove it from this car.

 

It's downright ridiculous, like they don't even care about it.

I am so disappointed this update will drop while I'm not able to play. I have become broken. Last night I logged on GTA and started flying around only to crash into a pole and quit the game. I'm Installing Red Dead, as it seems gta isnt priority anymore

Those bugs are not hilarious, they just don't have a reason to touch the older files.

 

They are just focusing on what's coming ahead not fixing the previous things.

 

For ex:

 

A few days ago when fun discussed about the size of background scripts and how they can decrease the size of the same and increase the stability of the game, they could have just edited the previous scripts but they choose to have another one.

 

Rockstar you see.

Casino releasing in late july so we are what we call entering the dark ages. From now till the next few weeks, we will experience absolutely nothing. 

 

When they update and tease red dead throughout July, do not be surprised.

I disagree.

 

We're long past that period now that we actually know the general idea of the next update and have something to talk about, even if that information is still somewhat limited and we have grinded it to the ground at this point.

 

True dark ages were what we lived up until that first logo/gif came out. There comes a point where constantly bickering between each other and having the words "tuners" and "naval" being brought up all the time becomes annoying.

 

Honestly, with a little bit of patience, it's all smooth sailing from here until the release day.
