I've been gone since yesterday afternoon, received the money on 2 of my accounts yesterday morning, 3rd account has yet to receive it.

.... Aaaand GTA is currently Nr. 1 on Steam worldwide... What's going on ? It isn't the first time that it's discounted, and that we get free money... So what's the deal?

When they actually spend money and do actual marketing magically they get an influx of  players. 

 

Yet for eflc and stories games they barely marketed and wonder why they didn't sell 5 trillion copies

I would love a new mission called “Dragnet” or “Manhunt”

 

You have one runner and 16 hunters.  You get a 2 min head start, everyone is off the radar to the opposition.  The 16 hunters can see each other on the radar but the hunted can not and of course the hunted is off the radar.  If the hunted can evade getting killed for say 1 hour he wins 1M.  If he’s killed all the hunters get 200K with a bonus for the killer.

Speaking of Dragnet I’d like a mission/Heist that is similar to the classic movie of the same name starring Dan Ackroyd...a humorous noire underworld caper which would tie nicely in with the police expansion that surely will become inevitable as they entirely run out of ideas.

That’s a really good idea for a cops DLC.  Imagine the sweet undercover vehicles they could come up with for us to buy?

I was thinking for a while that Arena War heist could be fun for heists and humor.

 

We've robbed Fleeca and Pacific Standard. In storymode, they robbed Blaine County Savings and Loans and The Union Depository. Going after Maze Bank through the Maze Bank Arena could be fun, grabbing the sponsorship money from Arena War. It could reference Arena War's lack of popularity.

 

Lazlow, Tracey, Alan Jerome, Bryony, Jock Cranley and The Los Santos Panic could all be involved if there were different approaches like the Casino Heist. There could be Big Cons involving Lazlow and/or Tracey pretending to be shooting for Fame or Shame, or else basketball players (either the Panic or an "Away Team" like the Liberty Penetrators. They could add women's teams too based on the WNBA.)

 

They could unveil a new Arena War layout and vehicles which turns into a battle with guards. It could spill over into the spectator's booth and using the tablets and power ups to mess with them before a gunfight in there all the while the commentators talking about the action. (And if they wanted, they could add some new Arena War modes, although I don't think most people would care but at least it would be secondary DLC.)

 

It could also serve as a setup for a proper Maze Bank Tower heist after that. Lester says the Maze Bank Tower was deemed impenetrable but with the stunt we pulled at Maze Bank Arena, he thinks he's found a way in. (And then add that it's kind of stupid to rob the bank you keep your own money in, but it might be stupid enough to work since who would expect they'd be robbing themselves.)

A new type of IE would be nice, with a bunch of cars. No matter what or when the last dlc is for GTA V, just give it a bunch of cars please.

Could you imagine instead of dripfeeding a car, they'd "drip-steal" a car? What if on Thursday a car would be removed from Legendary Motorsport/Southern San Andreas Super Autos?

I want a loners DLC where they make businesses for people who just wanna be left alone lmao 

 

a nostalgic DLC would be super cool though. Featuring a radio station with loads of classic songs from old gta games, a mini game where you could play a top down mini version of the first gta, they could add old cars and clothes that are reminiscent of old characters clothes (like Roman, lil Jacob, Johnny vercetti etc). 
they could have cameos from old characters. They could make tons of stuff available like red double decker busses (like in gta London)

 

I’m just dreaming but it would be so cool

I don't understand this whole military conversation.

There is already so much military stuff in the game and half of it is not even used by most players. Most people rely on their poopmissile (mk2) or a hydra.

I've seen the first B11 in months yesterday.

 

Sure, I would love a AH-1 Cobra or as a more meme-ish vehicle a gta version of airwolf. However, I dont see any point in adding them other than to satisfy my personal fanboy.

Well, within the hour.

 

But considering the 3.6 million cap I doubt it'd be that much of  a money maker. Heck, I'd almost wager the 25% more money and 50% heist cut would yield more money if you ran 2-man teams. Those crew cuts discounts paid off more than you'd think. 2% for Karim and Karl and 4% for Paige is one heck of a steal.

I actually think that these crew cuts are very good opportunity. Especially for 2 man crews and I do believe that doing it with 2 is the best scenario.

They could do this sort of thing for event weeks - 70s or 80s disco at the nightclub with a load of clothes and music to fit, create some freemode events around protecting the nightclub that mimic films of the era,

 

They could even make missions/races/adversary modes/whatever that mimic film plots - smokey and the bandit, convoy, ghostbusters, bullit, back to the future, italian job and so on. We've got most of the cars already.
