Big updates and few surprises

Doesn't sounds promising for me at all, Open wheel series with pit stops is the last thing I would like to see in GTAO (well, second last after Oppressor Mk2). There are much more detailed, physically advanced games where all this will make much more sense. Sadly, this thing is not dying anytime soon and it looks like 6 is nowhere near, which means more broken updates and no new land to explore.

 

From the looks of it I'm not going to play the game really often.

GTAO is still a massive cashcow, so they're in no hurry to replace it.

That statement does not include the Open Wheel Races. Now, I'm fairly sure we all know what a "big update" is, the ones that come in Summer, December and possibly Early Autumn. What has me interested is what they could be talkign about when they say "AND a few surprises" after hinting more big updates.

 

And that's only concerning 2020.

I'm glad they're still putting content in. Every update expands the GTA universe.

 

Since GTA online is now current year, I'd like a whole DLC dedicated to updating older assets and bringing newer models of the common cars.

There's a Gunrunning mission and Biker Sale missions tied to that.... Anyone whose done Import/Export since the the initial Casino update, is the horsetrack source mission still in the game or has it been disabled?

 

Second more immediate issue, they'd have to redo the geography so that in freeroam it's essentially a blank plane of tarmac so they can simply drop track onto it in Open Wheel Races. Early Spring updates have never really consisted of much that couldn't be done in Creator Mode aside form introducing newer props.

They are talking about the Open Wheel races part of the drip-feed. They didn't reveal anything about the next update other than "big updates and a few surprises coming soon".

The next update is gonna be a continuation on the Open Wheel races aka Part 2, at least this is what I found out from the missing strings left in the files that are related to the Open Wheel race creator.

Don't be so pessimist! F1 cars (and karts, maybe...i hope) seems like a nice update.

Man...with the casino heists, we can't complain again with R* bcz the game is too hard to grind. If you take one or two friends or just "gta contacts", if you become a consistent team, you can do a lot of money with those heists. But i will know for sure that the next dlc will be expensive...we get a peak of it with this two F1 cars, which costs together almost or even a little bit more than 7 millions...if R* add like 15 cars...well...50M seems a legit bet of the amount of money we need to spent if we want to have all the content of it.
