There is always something better. Some people just don't get it.

I'm not big on F1 racing however the F1 cars and everything that comes with it is what I'm most excited for. I'm pretty impressed, they're two of the most unique vehicles released in a very long time.

Same here, that's why I can't finish F1 2018. But these cars are interesting and I may even get one or two.

Anybody else miffed to see the Fixie hanging on the wall of the arcade office but not available to purchase on SA Cycle?  I walked up to it daring to hope they made it rideable... if they would have added it, this update would be the perfect undercover I'm Not A Hipster 2 update.

Agreed--the more cars the better, but I'm not a racer I just like driving around the map.  I was very much into Gran Turismo back in the day and actually that is the game that got me into Playstation as a console [the first one]--I bought the subsequent ones as well but really played the sh*t out of the first Gran Turismo as I've always been into cars and the original came out at a great time in car culture [in my book] and was the closest thing to real car physics I had ever seen.  The original Need For Speed on 3DO set the bar prior and Gran Turismo blew it out of the water.  I was also not of driving age yet at the time [I think this was early 90s] so I was more enthralled.

 

That said it's great that GTA can encompass so much within one world, though I very wish the flying bike sh*t and futuremobiles would have f*cked right off.  It's a hell of a game in its totality though with so much to do and explore, even if a lot of the mechanics of this old game are dated with the fetch and deliver missions etc.  If this would have been soloable as a heist at the end it would have been as close to perfect as I could have hoped given the natural limitations of a 6 year old game.

I agree. GTA Online seems to be a trial and error for them now in regards to RDO and GTA6. I get excited just thinking about the details those games will bring, especially GTA6. 

 

These new Heist alone are a game changer. RIP to the old layout.

Yeah totally, the details and possibilities for GTA6 really excite me. Might be the game I play for the coming 5 - 10 years.

This new Heist alone makes me wish for R* to remake both the old Heists and The Doomsday Heist to this new format.

 

I know that they never bother to retroactively update old content with new features (unless it's trade prices lul) but still, it would be cool to have Silent and Sneaky or Big Con approaches for Pac Standard, Humane Labs and Bogdan, to offer some examples.

 

IMO, this is how Heists in Online should had been since 2015.

Yeah this new heist format is almost zero bullsh*t, solely because of how we can do the setups, without any railroaded bullsh*t like the old heist setups, with new different approaches and different ways to complete it.

 

Imagine a complete clean getaway on the Pacific Standard heist because of listening to Lesters idiotic plan of hitting it at daylight, you go in at night time and avoid triggering the alarm because you can get a competent hacker to hold it off while you clear the vault, then leave from the basement/rooftop.

 

Or even better: Imagine being able to use an actually decent 4-door vehicle with BP tires on the getaway instead of those stupid bikes...

 

If there are any more new heists down the line, then I hope they follow this format.

funny how the first heist you do online you rob the small fleeca bank and use an armoured karuma which is picked up by a giant magnet on a helicopter but the final heist you use stupid bikes and a dingy...

I just think it's funny at how R* patched the Kuruma/apartment thing on Pac, but now we're doing pretty much that.

Even funnier thing is that them patching Kuruma/apartment on Pac is that it resulted in people finding new and faster ways resulting in a easy achieved elite challenge so people could make even more money

I think they will look at it how they always do...what’s gone down well with the fanbase and made them money and increased numbers.

Its a small room, but its whats underneathe the room that is important.

 

I kinda concept-ified the next update where we have the ability to reverse engineer weapons and vehicles from "a place no one knows about". It would feature a lot of Epsilon, IAA and FIB related stuff too. But for now, I'll leave you a 3D render of the concept hideout with yours truely sitting in front of a laptop and 3 huge screens (not visible in pic) and of course, a really sexy Khamelion in the background.

You see a vehicle that is now even rarer than a LOST Slamvan and it's affixed to a wall as a prop.

But it is in the game since the start. I think it has a symbolic value due to unique animation.
