If the new Hatchback is an Open it'll probably be branded as Cheval rather than as a Declasse. R*'s branding doesn't follow solid logic so despite Cheval being a stand in for Holden their cars are mainly just new Chevrolets. The other alternative is that they brand it as something really stupid like Vulcar.

Firebird is a muscle car. Many people don't realize that there's a difference between a pony car and a muscle car. A pony car would be a muscle or Camaro while a muscle car would be a old 60s dodge charger or any dodge challenger.

Mate a Firebird is literally a pony car.

Mustang

Cougar

Camaro

Firebird

Challenger

Javelin

Barricuda

These are the the original "pony cars" from the 60's. Dont think I missed any. They definitely are all often classed as muscle cars as well though.

Same with the Rumpo should be a Vapid rather than a bravado since it's a Ford econoline. The dukes should be a bravado and ect.

Now, the only modern pony cars now are the new Camaro and mustang. The new dodge challenger is the only true muscle.

Right now, I'm in love with the 2020 Shelby GT500!!! That thing is a rocket off the line pulling 10.6s in a quarter mile at 133mph. That's supercar territory. It's dual clutch transmission is lightning fast shifting which gives awesome acceleration. In good condition it can pull 10.4s ans 10.3s as well. My favorite car at the moment!! Ford nailed the performance. I do want it in gta.

I don’t understand why people buy gas HD pickups

You’re burning a stupid amount of fuel to make barely any power

Its hardly in the affordable range compared to a diesel and those gas engines have such a short lifespan as well

Diesel is more expensive in the U.S. on average. Here its about 60 cents more per gallon.

https://gasprices.aaa.com/state-gas-price-averages/

Also diesel HD trucks are insanely expensive compared to gas trucks. Not to mention the repair costs when diesel trucks break down are much much higher than gas trucks.

Source: I repair late model HD trucks very often.

Far as modern American cars go I think I'm simple, Hellfire gonna satisfy me a lot. If they should add another I want it to be a Cadillac. CTS-V. Been waiting too long for a new Presidente

Nothing beats a bench seat in my opinion, you have so much room and it’s comfortable. My current car has a front bench seat with a red interior and it floats like a boat. Classic American cars comfort was on a different level back in the day, feeling a speed bump is almost non existent. These new car seats are hard as rock and just don’t feel as comfortable along with the ride itself. Those Marquise’s are beautiful as well brother, kept that smooth ride and comfort.  Sad to say that Cadillac lost its touch.

Indeed, man. Well said.

People are arguing about generalizations, we could really use an image or something. Truth is lots of Americans drive compact cars. Lots of Americans drive giant trucks too. It's a huge country with a vast variety of people of all walks of life with many different tastes and preferences. You all sound like assholes. Which is unfortunate because I know you all aren't. You just need info.

LOL...i didn't wnat to be the first guy saying that thing, but yeah, i thought of that. xP

Yes but there are people who dont haul anything and still buy a truck its becoming more of a status symbol rather than utility. And They just keep getting bigger like what if i needed a small truck like the s10 or nissan hardbody theres no new small class trucks and most of the new ones keep getting useless facelifts and more features personally just keep it simple, its a truck, not a cadillac, its meant to be a workhorse its built for work not luxury. Practicality and functionality over some bells and whistles

I have a theory that maybe some people who buy trucks (and i'm not saying all truck owners are or think like that) do it for compensate some inferiority complex and want feel superior than the others, bcz they are in a higher point of view perspective from the driver seat in that kind of vehicles in relations to other people.

I was lurking this thread since before at least After Hours DLC, but only now decided to create an account and take part in discussion. Don't you guys think that DLC car is simply new version of Declasse Asea, also known as Lester's car? Current in-game Asea is based on first gen Chevy Sonic (USA) / Aveo (other countries). The one from Heist DLC is simply a second gen Sonic / Aveo. Take a look:

aveo.png

LOL...i thought that too...maybe we will see a Lester MK II. xD With a upgraded version of his car and with a new more badass outfit, pulling in front of the vallet and enter the casino like a boss. 😛

Its a fact about the suv/truck situation in the United States.

But you are correct, we do need some info lol, because this whole conversation has noting to do with GTA lol

Also, they are use to strict regulations and having certain regulations on car lengths and ect. Also, they are use to seeing very small hatchbacks and ect on the roads. They are not use to seeing such big vehicles like we do here in the US. Yes, many do need info.

Yep, would have been even better if they did a wagon version.  With a manual.  ^^

I remember someone said to me that in the old Cadillacs of yesteryear a person never spilled their drink as the ride was so smooth.

I am picturing a lot of people drink driving with whisky and occasionally running over children and not even noticing as their drink was still intact...

You're right, lol. I think we can't trash americans...despite the fact that they do that to the rest of the world quite often. LOL. And yes, not only in the US people drive trucks, or not drive compacts. Probably trucks are more convinient for americans since they have a huge country with miles and miles of highways and long roads in desert areas...Nonethless, if we are talking about inferiority complex here, when we talk about people who buy trucks to overshadow other people, what to say about those persons who buy golden cars, lol! But, let's close this conversation, like @Mach1bud said, it doesn't have anything to do with gta. 😂

I have to add that as Guest Relations in a hotel they Tip the best of all nationalities and what some of them may lack in world knowledge they make up for with a genuine earnestness and lack of cynicism.

I love you guys and am glad you’re top of the pile and not China...for now they’re catching you!

We need more Cadillacs in gta anyway. Cadillacs don't get any love. I wouldn't mind a newer calvacade based off the 2017 Cadillac Escalade either.

That's the thing. Wagons aren't popular amongst Americans anymore like they use to.
