Say, no one has speculated about what outfits could there be on this update (probably because no one cares and they want to fight scout Glocks and Cossies).

 

Apart from the new military outfits and the new goggles, I say there’s going to be gaudy themed outfit, louder and flashier than those in the past Casino update. Retro vintage? Maybe. But I’m willing to bet it’s gonna be bolder, and not many will like it. Christmas clothing will be nicer as usual.

the arcade has me thinking 80's to maybe early 90's retro. really vibrant stuff. and probably a jacket made out of arcade carpet, wouldn't be R* clothing without something like that.

Definetly wouldnt mind seeing some variety just like've seen with the Casino DLC. I think that outside of few meh cars (Issi Sport, Novak, Rampant Rocket) it was one of the better collection of cars and since its basically a sequel I hope that gets repeated as well...

 

Also I didnt knew Id live long enough to see Opel/Vauxhall Cors in GTA

 

Yes!! Thing is that Opel/Vauxhall cars aren't sold in the US as well as Peugeot, renault, Skoda, Citroen and ect. Gta takes place in a American setting. It makes sense.

Now, uh, in regards to Piro's bigass post on the previous page chewing through the newswire post, there's one more thing that could be of interest.

Considering that the last "dress rehearsal" in Online involved tearing through Humane Labs and planting a Trojan Insurgent (lower row) - it could mean a way to get a feel for the stage - the Diamond's vault, before the heist itself.

 

Which I think could be an entire identical fake vault inside the mentioned Nerve Center. Just like in Ocean's 11 (upper row). And it could justify a high price.

 

The specs for the vault itself could be provided by Vincent, with him being a (former) head of security, and for the vault door itself - by Agatha, judging by safe blueprints in her office.

That made me think about something else entirely: what if one of those 'refreshingly new' aspects of this heist is that we will be able to choose the side? What if all of those parties have different goals and plans, and you, the player, will have to choose who you are helping?

You made a very interesting point. But i dont think it will be the case...bcz number one, that would give extra work to R*...making a heist is by itself hard and give a lot of work, making it with variables, like they said in the newswire that it will have, it's even more harder and gives more work. Imagine now making two separate ways of deal with the heist (being in the heist team or in the defense team).

Number 2, it would make us become enemies with lester and that dont make a lot of sense. If you think well, Lester is probably or most reliable contact and/or the most familiar to us, why go against him?

Number 3, nobody did like that cowboy...he got everyone by the balls...and he even hired us to kill his freaking uncle! That made everybody, including us, unconfortable with that task! That's a new level of evilness. Not to mention everyone started to hate him even more when he fired Vincent for whatever reason...

I can see Agatha doing it out of spite. Vincent would see it as a lucrative opportunity for revenge. 

 

Thornton can do it for the insurance fraud, but I doubt he's involved in the heist.

It's not a glitch with Benny's himself, duplication glitches will still exist regardless of Benny's or not.. People are not making dupes at the Benny's shop

Import issues most likely. Also, we technically do have Vauxhall/opel but are rebadged as saturn/Buick cars tho.

Yep. Also, Ford, Dodge, Chevrolet, Cadillac, Toyota, Nissan, Buick, Lincoln, and Chrysler are the main manufacturer market over here in the US. VW, Audi, BMW, Porsche, and Mercedes are sold here. However, many models of those manufacturers aren't sold here like the Mercedes benz vito, Mercedes benz A45 hatchback, and ect. We do have VW golf here.

Probably because its either sold as something else or they just didn't see a market for it at the time. Same thing happened with the newer ss and caprice in canada, we didn't get either of them because GM thought that we didn't need them, sadly.

Same thing with lorries/semis, we don't get Scania, Ivecco, DAF, MAN, Renault, and Mercedes benz lorries. Peterbuilt, western star, freightliner, mack, international, kensworth, Ford, and CATERPILLAR lorries are sold here. I know Australia gets American lorries like Mack, Kensworth, And ect as a road trains.

Man, I just saw a clip on YouTube of some guy doing repo work in gta with a flatbed truck. Loading cars on it. 
 

I want that in gtao. Doing some repo work and moving my cars around when I feel like it.

Nope. Americans like big cars or cars that are roomy. Americans tend to care more about exterior looks and how a car sounds. Americans like cars that have that intimidation look like pony cars/sport sedans like a Mustang/camaro/challenger. Also, pickup trucks are soo popular in the US especially diesel trucks.

Also, small cars are quite uncomfortable and have no space especially in trunks. Also, why drive a small hatchback here in America on our big roads when you can drive a nice medium size sedan or even a truck?

The willys jeep was a beta vehicle in gtav called the "winky". it had the exact same specs, 4wd 65mph top speed and a curb weight of 2500lbs and even the name was a direct reference to the willys jeep as both willy and winky are a childish slang for penis a nod to r* crude humor.

As a technician I get a decent idea of what people drive, and it is quite uncommon to see a Sonic or Spark come in for service, but a Traverse, Encore, SRX, Tahoe, Suburban? See those in the shop every single day.

Caring more for exterior than interior? That's a general problem with a quite good amount of the humanity.

Yes. Petrol being cheap is another reason why bigger vehicles like Vans, Trucks, and SUVs are soo common here.

Eh I dont see many minivans anymore but fullsize vans are quite common work trucks. GM never really excelled in the minivan market I think.

 

There are a lot more minivans with other manufacturers though I think, Honda, Toyota, etc. I do see them on the roads often, just not as often as crossover Suvs.
