Would not be surprised to see GTA to be pushed to the week of the 16th.

 

In 2015 the festive update didn't come out until the 21st, although there was an earlier release on the 13th.

2014 the festive update didn't come until the 18th, the previous update was in October.

 

If they want to give RDO a chance to breathe I can see them leaving it until the week after for GTO, they know people will play GTA anyway.

 

I think I read here the beta builds were updated last week ? Would we expect another build before a release ? Keep in mind they have to submit the updates to Playstation/Xbox ahead of time for approval.

 

A build this week could still be a release on the 10th, but its cutting it fine for approval from the networks ? no build would mean either the one from last week is the update or there will be one later for a release week of the 16th ?

 

In terms of the update being "heists", are there any references found (so far) to that? or are we just looking at a bunch of missions similar to those when casino came out ?

Could easily be the latter, plus the usual free car on the 25th + snow + festive clothing.

 

Someone said that this update was probably done months ago and they're just using stuff they already had - kind of makes sense, they did the casino stuff and split it in to two, if it didn't attract much attention they'd shove the second part out. As it was the casino update as a big hit, so they just saved the rest of it until now. Saves resource that they can use for RDO updates or maybe even working on GTA6.

I really hope we get some more super cars and off-road vehicles from the '80's to the early 2000's. I think we need more stuff like the Hellion and the S80RR. And since this is the last update of the year, I actually expect we will get something that will scratch that itch.

Don't think the same week is that important since it's almost the same amount if days between them either way. 

Personally I haven't played Rdo in ages, probably won't in a long time either and know a lot of people in the same boat, so I don't think it makes that big of a difference even if both dlc was the same date

The Camaro was the 2017 ZL1 Pre Order Car. There a couple differences between the regular one, the main things being a Viper and Aventador engine swap and a serious reduction in weight.

Rdo is definitely their priority in my opinion.

They probably got scared because they know rdo lacks content.

One thing's for certain;

 

Those tryhards who warp to their facility to orbital you will either need to choose to not play the new heist in order to keep that heist warp, or try to finish the new heist as fast as possible so that they can restart DDH to get that heist warp back.

 

This is obviously based on the assumption that the new heist won't kick start from your facility.

Small detail but perhaps some of you might be safe from orbitals for a brief spell.

Flaw in your logic: You can have both the DDH and an older heist active, resulting in two teleport points already. I don't see why a new heist wouldn't be capable of being active too.

Either the 10th or the 17th will interfere and be interfered by the RDO update release on 13th, so, I don't really know which one is the best date for them.

With the RDO update coming on a Friday, this makes me think they're planning to release the GTA update in the same week. I would think if they were releasing on separate weeks they would both release on a Tuesday, but of course that's just a guess

I’d love some big mudding trucks, or at least retro trucks. Like a Saddler Classic to mimic the old box-body Fords from the late 70’s to the early 90’s. A Sandking Classic would be awesome too—maybe in the form of a Highboy F-250. A Rancher Pickup is a must for me, and its absence is inexcusible. 

 

Given that this is likely a heist DLC, I feel like there may be some hope. The original Heists brought the Guardian, FAF had the Rumpo Custom, DDH had the Riata and Kamacho and we recently got the Hellion. While they’re not all classic offroaders necessarily, they’re relatively strange offroadish vehicles. It seems most of the business/heist updates have a sort of rugged offroad-ish vehicle tossed in as a substitute before you get to the crazy armored vehicles. 

 

Retro sports cars are a given with any update. Nostalgia is way too profitable.

As always, this update would be a great time to implement mansions with 20 car garages.

As always, every time we get info about what the next update is, people always say "now is the perfect time to add mansions, it's the only logical property left" and every single time it's proven wrong. I mean I'd like to be wrong, but I think the casino penthouse is the closest we'll get to mansions.

I'd prefer it. I have finals all next week and I'm gonna be mad jealous if the update drops and I see all these new cars. But itll make me more excited to play come the end of finals

RDO update dropping next Friday definitely makes things interesting. I'd say its definitely to give some breathing room between GTA and RDO. All of a sudden I am thinking that the 20th would be a good day to release the GTA update?

 

Then on the 24th (which lands on a Tuesday conveniently) they turn on snow for both the games. Turn it off from the 26th-30th, and then back on again for the 31st (tues) -1st.

Same, but I don't really expect mansions to be added either, but I would also be happy to be wrong.  I'm at maybe 4 free garage spots now, so the ability to replace all of my high-end apartments with mansions + 20 car garages would be extremely welcome.

Yeah, with all the other updates mansions would've fit in to but were never added, I doubt it too. You have four more free spaces than I do, I have none. Unless that reserved spot for the Dipsh*t MKII counts as an open spot, but that one will remain eternally empty unless someone finds a way to glitch another vehicle into it.

ngl, this being a heist update, either they better be providing some top notch side content/drip orrrrr Spring/Summer DLC is gonna be balling. Think I still got 80 mil, I would like to blow it all after heist earnings

Unpopular opinion, but as useful as Heist teleports may be, they get abused hard by several players and I wouldn't mind them to go the way of the dodo IMO.

 

And I say this as someone who uses them strictly to fast travel across the map, I'm willing to give up some convenience in exchange for less abusable features.

One thing that came to my mind about my theory that this dlc was already thought in the summer adn was "splitted" by the rest of the casino dlc, is the fact that in the casino trailer, we saw some helicopters fight in sandy shores and a car pursuit/race that didn't apperead in any mission of the story missions.

 

What i also think is that maybe in this update we will going to see some retro cars from previews gta's, like the pmp-600, classic coquette and that pegassi from gta IV. I also hope to see a zr-350 from gta san andreas and the zr-380 from arena war but in a standard version. In terms of weapons, give me the katana and i will don't ask for anymore melee weapons. In terms of property a mansion would be welcome but i believe they added the penthouses in order to shut our mouths asking for a "big house with furniture that we could pick". What i can almost they for sure is that we will see, like what happened in halloween some new furnitures and decorations for the penthouses.

 

About OP vehicles, i will not say a vehicle, but, call me crazy but i think someday, maybe not in this update, we will see some kind of iron man suit. Take it as a Thurster (jet pack) MK II (which was lame and everyone was expecting something very different). ALso, would like to see some princess robot bubblegum and the kitty wasabi and why not a outfit of that mascot cat of the show...also, clown outfits.
