I just hope whatever the story is, it's significantly less convoluted than Doomsday. There were too many long drawn out red herrings and misdirections. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the sh*t out of DH, but I just wish they would have gone full on crazy and just did the Alien War concept they had planned.

 

I'm sure the Casino Heist will be cool, I just hope they don't add to many meme machines, that they add new weapons that are based on real guns, and they add a gigantic batch of awesome dripfeed vehicles. I won't get my hopes up for new weapons, but I think they'll fulfil the rest.

Considering this year has been good with not releasing stupid super rocket meme vehicles, this slightly worries me. Though nothing beats the damn noob stick MKII.

Someone said recently and I forget who it was, sorry, they should add helicopters and jets that have specific advantage over the broomstick. They're always gonna use power creep to sell sharkies so they may as well at least add cool military vehicles too as an alternative to silly meme stuff. Corner both sides of the market.

How about new vehicles to counter, the noobikers, such as (My humble ideas), buzzard Mk2 with countermeasures and deluxo rockets, and a nightshark Mk2.

 

It's needed some balance, remove the noobiker from mc menú, and eliminate the cooldown for ceo vehicles.

 

In the civilian vehicles, i would love to see the uranus, and a cullinan with an armored variant 🧐

No, no, no. You've got it all wrong. What we need is a collab with Payday 2, and give us "Gensec Paint" that we apply on our cars and this paint is very special. It reflects rockets and makes the car invulnerable to explosions. And seeing this is gtao, let's make any rocket shot at the car bounce back and insta kill the one who shot it. And the driver is credited the kill.

The problem is that the Oppresor Mk II is so overpowered that anything added to the game specifically designed to be a hard counter it will be overpowered on its own and ending up the Mk II as the sh*tlord's vehicle of choice.

 

We don't need a counter for the Mk II, we need the Mk II nerfed so it can be countered by more things that are already in the game.

I disagree. An armored Chernobog style vehicle operated by a single person that had top tier tracking missiles would be much less OP. Simply for the fact that it cant fly, it wouldn't be able to be spammed, and it would be a lot slower 

than a Mk 2. So you could avoid said vehicle so much easier than you could a Mk 2. While I do agree that it needs a nerf (mainly its cooldown). A hard counter like I just mentioned would not be OP.

I will only mention this once since I don't really like the MK2 talk in this topic. It's impossible by definition, because you can't spam neither jets nor helicopters in this game. Either we're spamming everything in this game or we're not spamming MK2 at least. Can't say that I disagree with removing all the cooldowns on the non-weaponized vehicles.

The thing is, we've already protected the casino against the cowboy clan, I don't want to have to protect it again.

 

As for the MKII issue, it's about time we've gotten defensive vehicles and/or weapons. If anyone has seen the movie Hurricane Heist, something similar to the Dominator (not to be confused with our in-game Dominator). A vehicle that's built like a tank with a lot of stopping power and that's possibly equipped with an EMP weapon that can temporarily disable any vehicle it's fired at. Give some of the mine options from AW some practical use. I also think an EMP weapon would just be a ton of fun to mess around with.

As an ex-tryhard (I now spend my retirement happily collecting coins and sailing canoes in RDO), I can tell you that most of us don't give a sh*t about K/D itself, its the score that counts, first and foremost.

Secondly, if you remove EWO, people like us will just attach a sticky bomb to our vehicle to replace said lost method.

 

Still though, I'm an advocate of completely removing EWO, K/D and disallowing your own weapons from being able to kill you (not to mention removal of buying ammo from the interaction menu), as it would end the somewhat toxic behaviour of a lot of the tryhard community. It would mean we'd have to work a lot harder to avoid being killed and that would likely mean cleaner fights and new methods to utilise the environment to our advantage.

 

I do really really hope they do something about the MK2 in the next series of updates though. It's a serious problem, for everyone concerned.

I hope these next heists have better roles, like a dedicated hacker or getaway driver and then the team that goes in and robs the joint. I would love to be the dedicated getaway driver instead of something dumb like crowd control. Back when the old Pacific Standard garage trick worked I was almost always the driver. I liked that setup more.

What if they made military aircraft like the Hunter, Savage, Hydra and others have better missiles tracking when fighting the witch bike.

Also make both EWO and suicides count against both K/D and the Freemode score regarless if you took damage from other before it or not.

 

We did it guys, EWO is no more.

Do both; my suggestion and yours and it would certainly be an improvement.

tbf i have a fully spec'd hunter which with the armour and flares usually out performs them broomsticks fine

You guys are missing the point, badly.

 

Anything with better missiles than the Homing Launcher will counter the Mk II, but it also will counter all helicopters and most planes aside from jets, even worse if we're talking about R2K or Chernobog tier missiles.

 

A missile launcher that fires kinetic/EMP missiles or whatever will only be against the Mk II, anything else will barely be affected by it, aside from divebombing jets, making it extremely niche in utility.

 

Not only that, having to come up with an elaborate way to counter the Mk II without f*cking up everything else actually shows how overpowered the Mk II really is.

 

Seriously, it just needs to be nerfed, no need for anything else, really.

I consider stuff like the Sea Sparrow, RC Bandito, and Rocket Voltic as 'meme vehicles.' Oppressor MKII, Deluxo, Hydra are what I like to call, "noob vehicles."

 

Anyways, I hope we see more stuff on the meme side and Rockstar stop catering to noobs and griefers. I'm talking hover boats and go karts.

Agreed, but sadly a nerf by itself is about as likely as my out-the-ass kinetic/EMP missiles thought.  It's too much of a money maker to get a nerf unless it's at the same time as a new OP vehicle's release for the griefers to migrate to that's hidden behind property and workshop vehicle paywalls.

I really don't care what they do with the MK II Oppressor flying asshole.  I sold mine and haven't really missed it much.  I avoid populated lobbies and never, ever sell in populated lobbies.  They are a minor annoyance to me these days.

This wouldn't be asinine at all. If anything, it'll be awesome. Nothing can be more asinine than the OpMK2 and other Saints Row like stuff that they added in the past.

Dear Santa,

All I want for Christmas this year is the option to have a stock version of whatever cars your elves decide to ruin. I just think like anything they need to balance the game a bit better...it doesn’t need to be nerfed as such but instead foster a situation where different vehicles have different advantages over each other...so there isn’t one vehicle that can defeat everything.

 

they just need to make it so there are multiple answers to it.

 

there aren’t any now really...you never see Jet griefers anymore I guess that’s something.

 

The stromberg being able to go underwater and fire missiles is an example of creative thinking and the fact it’s much tougher too.

 

They could even have a ground vehicle that fires missiles that are totally relentless in their pursuit of air vehicles and don’t veer off course.

 

you could have a tiny drone that follows an air vehicle around discreetly and attaches itself and blows it up that only works on air vehicles.

 

there are many solutions to this.

 

i hate how often I have to Nat type my way during a sale as I can’t risk the douche killing me on his oppressor in easy mode.

 

if you could call something at any point to counter them...even during a mission that would be good.

 

imagine being able to track their movements better so they can’t be OTR and blow you up during a sale and even have a miniature explosive drone get next to them without realising so if they do go for you you can end them?

Amount of useful vehicles that have actually unique abilities to distinguish them from other vehicles released in 2019: 0 (well guess 1 if you count the bandito)

I'm sick of getting regular cars and ONLY regular cars can we please have some more unique vehicles with unique abilities?

I'd take a weaponized JB700 gladly for example or maybe new weapons as long as they're not something crap like "here's this meat cleaver! it uses all the same animations as the machete! and you never use melee weapons really in this game anyway! and the melee mechanics are crap and unsatisfying in this game! buy this new piece of crap to clutter up your weapon wheel!"
