Actually, it's an open world sandbox. PVP is not part of the full experience. It's just as valid as PVE. I don't think you know what you're talking about.

December really can’t come any quicker. I’ve stayed off of this thread for a long time just to avoid getting burnt, but the mere possibility of finally getting police vehicles has me more excited than I want to be.

I’m definitely excited for that possibility but at the same time I want really good regular cars too.

 

The fact that we still haven’t got a car based on the Ferrari 458 is mind blowing.

Agreed. I feel like there’s no way we wouldn’t get some fan requests if they really do end up going with a cop theme. I could imagine plenty of references to something like NFS: Hot Pursuit; some classic sports cars and new supers as well as some high performance police vehicles to hunt them down with.

I agree. If this is the update theme it would make too much sense not to do that.

^Pretty sure the Trike is next.

 

I think the Comet Classic probably trumps the 458 or Aventador, but that's the great thing about current GTAO, some were sure we'd never get a Gauntlet Classic or a Hunter (remember how zealous the anti Hunter crowd was, I do!). The next update could well bring a 458, Aventador and a Comet Classic, here's hoping it does (Bullet Mk.4 would be tops too!)

 

Recently I was fixing up a compound bow that I haven't used in a while and it struck me how fun one could be in GTAO. Especially if we got trick arrows like in RD2, but GTAO could have napalm arrows, EMP arrows, gas/chemical weapons arrows, and explosive (I don't see how it could be any worse than the explosive rounds for MkII guns). If they ever did add a bow I'd hope it would have MkII level of customization. Shouldn't be too hard to adapt the mechanic from RD2, right?

I wouldn't think so, but who knows with R* lol, they skipped that week with the new survivals and when they came back they switched up the order on us, the wiley bastards. The Rampant Rocket would make a semi decent Halloween vehicle and will give us older players some real Bikers DLC vibes as that was out in fall of 2016(?). Man I can't believe how old this game is, nobody can say they haven't packed it with a massive amount of content regardless of how you feel about said content..

^^ True; but what brings a big smile to my face is quality over quantity.

 

I honestly don't know why there was such a slew of weapons released with Bikers (plenty!) but numerous other updates got nothing at all. Go figure.

 

Still wishing for the cut weapons to be released; would be nice to see some new weapons, like the Sten or Sterling... the Gusenberg Sweeper would be thrilled to have some company.

I can only speak for myself but I think the last 4 dripfeeds have had the best cars the game has gotten yet. Even the cars that aren't that interesting are usually extremely well designed and modelled these days. I wasn't a fan of AW as a concept but it had probably the best drip ever. I found DC&R to be a great update across the board: a massive new building/interior with an over the top penthouse, a short but sweet mission strand, upwards of 15 FR/VIP work style casino odd jobs, and another near immaculate batch of cars not to mention the gambling which prints money if played right. Not all of the updates were home runs but I'd say enough of them have been for me to be impressed with the quantity/quality ratio. The QOL stuff is very important, I get that, but a lot of people let that ruin the game for them and to each their own, I'm not judging. For me personally the patch lists for each update have only gotten better and more attentive in recent updates. I feel a lot of the community's main issues have been addressed, for example passive abuse and use of passive with weaponized vehicles with the last update. What will people bitch about once the broomstick gets a serious nerf? It's gonna happen, I'll bet on it.

No doubt in my mind that R* has been saving what they think are some of the "most wanted" things in GTA Online for when its popularity starts waning.
