You mean a full lobby for race? IDK, i don't race almost nothing in the game due the fact that i have not at least 30 fps's then i jsut see the smoke of the other cars. But i think many players don't play races bcz in each one i participated 99% had trolls who just crashed purposely in others, making the race experience a very bad one.

Well, but you need to have into account that cars back in 2014 didnt had a lot of customization, that's why you rarely see olders cars being used by players.

After IGGIII the only theme left is Tuners or mansions (mansions could come with IGGIII actually...), after that just random packs of cars, clothes and the occasional fire arm. Too much to ask probably but a guy can dream.

Probably due the old code mansions will not be a thing, that's why they gave us penthouses in order to at least make us not talk about mansion so often. Even then, i think penthouses brought a nice feature that is placing furniture almost 100% freely as we wish which was something that we wanted for mansions, but penthouses are not mansions, "oddly enough" every player lives in the same floor of the "big casino and RESORT".

The only things that spring to my mind as potentially planned single player content that has yet to be reworked is MAYBE the underwater side of things, which given the Stromberg I'm not sure about and Aliens/Fort Zancudo. Maybe Rockstar could find a way to combine these into a single update for December? But then there's the problem of T2. They love GTA Online for the money it makes to this day with such little market campaigning, they more than likely want this to go on until Rockstar say to them; "We literally cannot maintain the stability of the Online mode that ensure people will spend money if we make another major update, we need to release a new title and start from there".

 

Given that the Casino Dripfeed is lasting right up until December signals to me that they understand how badly Arena War went over, especially after 3 months since the last piece of new content that wasn't either an already in-game car or Remixed Advesary Mode.

 

2016 - Import/Export got leaked in its entirety.

2017 - People expected Hipsters 2, we got Doomsday Heist.

2018 - I expected Doomsday Acts 4 & 5, we got Arena War.

2019 - Who knows?

 

What I do know is what the last ever Dripfeed item should be when we do arrive at the final major update, and that's the Mission Creator.

I'm with low expectations for the december dlc, bcz seems like after a big dlc that came in July + the lesser major dlc's we are getting each year + RDR 2 on PC in November, i don't think they will want to give us a big update. In worst case scenario we will have the AW a.k.a "Big Adversary Mode Festival DLC", part 2 (just remember that there's some unreleased vehicles with arena war variants that didn't appeared in AW "part 1".

GTA V is the most profitable piece of media ever, I think they can afford messing up with the old code.

I don't think it's so easy. IDK, i'm not a programmer. But since it's old code and gta has so much content, i think they don't want give themselves that trouble. Money flows anyway.

I'd rather literally absolutely nothing over another ballbagg Arena War update.  That is the most out of place and garbage part of online.  The only halfway decent thing about the arena is the RC Bandito, and it would be better if you could just park that thing in a regular garage.

Yeah. My personal "prediction" is that next year before PS5 might be the last one, so just 3 updates left: December '19 - July '20 - December '20.
Red Dead online & GTA Online could give one more year for a hidden development of gta6. And when the time comes, we all gotta run, buy ps5/xbox2 and don't look back)

Hey as I was playing I thought of a random idea, so you know how u have the option to start a motorcycle crew or CEO, I was wondering if there could he a 3rd option of starting a mafia family  Everything is pretty much there, the businesses, clothing, nightclubs, casino etc. But instead of buying for example, a clubhouse or high rise u buy a bar or another mafia themed front and start an organized crime family with rivals and alliances and everything etc. I really think this idea would play out perfectly especially with all the current updates.

It would be great that if they made GTA 6 Online in another location, we can mantain our actual character and "travel" to that place mainteining, i dont know, a selection of five cars to import to that new place and some money. Or that you can buy a house in GTA5O for GTA6O and then when you travel there you have your place and some cars.

 

Its obvius that Rockstar wont let us to keep all what we geted in this generation, because they need make more money and probably sell real money cards, but it would be a nice gesture to let us keep something.

GTA6 will have another world. It's another game. Character transfer won't be a feature. Everything from scraps. But we'll get some welcome bonuses for gta online 2.0

Agreed, there's really no benefit to Rockstar to let us carry over anything from the current Online. While I completely understand, it might be the reason why I don't play the next version. I'd be too tempted to try and grind for levels, and I just have no desire to start all over again.

Only thing to be carried would be the character appearance, if so, IMO.

I think the real problem lies with vehicles. If we are able to transfer absolutely every car we own, those cars MUST exist in the next rendition. Look at all the cars in IV we didn't get in V.

 

Vehicle-wise though, as long as there is a Khamelion, I'm happy :) That bloody car has me sold every time.

If VI online doesn't have most of the cars from GTAO it'll be a hard pass for me. I don't care if I have to buy them again, as long as they're available.

I don't know, I remember something about them wanting to monetize just about every player and I think they could charge a price say around $10 to transfer 100 of our cars. Honestly I'd probably pay that to bring over at least half my car collection. Hell I'd pay extra money right now if it meant I could get 50 more garage spaces.

Not only the cars, but the military hardware, meme vehicles, businesses, etc. Not only would that require all of that, or the monetary equivalent, to be in the game, but it would also cut into potential sharkcard revenue too.

 

I have two characters, with maybe 200 cars and military hardware. My account is probably worth a couple hundred million. Imagine if I could just waltz into gta6 with that kind of money.

Well I've been working hard, so GTA Forums has had to take a backseat over the last few weeks... 

Anyhow, onto some Next DLC stuff... I think I'll be tweeting Rockstar Games this post daily, from now until December in the hope that:-
a) gearbox issues are fixed - what I'm talking about here is the Toros and Brutus from the AW update, and the Jugular, Paragon R, Paragon R Armoured - and to an extent - the Emerus and Krieger. Sorry, I've not had a chance to look at any others, and

b) the 'strAdvancedFlags' in the handling.meta from both the SSASSS and After Hours DLC updates are given a refresh, so that the value used for this statistic is the same value that is currently being used - meaning that those vehicles should drive a lot better and thus, boost sales for these vehicles. 

 

Gearbox issue explained: 
All of the vehicles except for the Emerus and Krieger will, once reaching their highest drive gear with fully upgraded transmission, completely fail to get out of the top gear that the vehicle's in. What that means is, if you slow the vehicle down massively and then try accelerating again, there won't be any "kickdown" where the car chooses a lower gear, it'll simply stay in this top gear until you reverse the car a little bit, or do some other random stuff. 

 

When it comes to the Emerus and Krieger, these cars will actually kickdown into a lower gear to accelerate properly, however, you can force these cars to have the same effect as mentioned above. All you have to do is get into top gear and then never come off the gas (right trigger) - press the left trigger (brake) down to about 75% pressure or so to get the vehicle slowing down (or almost to a stop), and upon releasing the brake and attempting to accelerate again, you'll be stuck in gear. 

 

strAdvancedFlags issue explained:
Well there isn't really an issue (in my personal opinion) with the current version of these flags. People originally said "they (the flags) were created to get rid of kerb boosting" but I've never heard or seen anything from Rockstar Games or any developers (etc) to confirm that's the reason they were introduced... Personally, I believe this statistic was added so that a wide range of aspects about a vehicle could be controlled via one single line of data, with vastly different outcomes.


Anyway... the problem with these 'strAdvancedFlags' primarily lies with the first and second batch of vehicles that had this data - they're the ones from the Southern San Andreas Super Sports Series update and the After Hours update. Those vehicles are woeful to drive, even if it's just because of the engine RPMs bouncing about all the time rather than sounding... realistic. 
All I'm proposing is that the current version of the flags (<strAdvancedFlags>4000000</strAdvancedFlags>) are used on these set of aforementioned DLC vehicles, so that they're brought "in line" with current vehicles and can be a bit more competitive - which would drive sales up for some vehicles for sure.

Super excited to see what the next update will be. Red Dead Online is fun but it can become a bit boring after awhile. I usually just do the bounties, I wish the bounties had more mechanics.

As long as all the cars, and I mean ALL of the cars, from DLCs and regular NPC traffic come in the next game I'll be happy. Even if we get a Futo I'll be happy. It would be cool if we got a stimulus package or something for returning players with an apartment and garage thrown in as well.

Rockstar released all the Podium vehicles except "Armored Paragon R" which could be the podium vehicle for this new event.

To my surprise, R* added 5 vehicles to the casino podium list.

Sanctus, Locust, S80RR, Caracara 4x4, Deveste Eight.

The Sanctus is for Halloween, there's no doubt about it. Turns out R* can add vehicles to the podium list, they just need to do a background update to ensure nothing goes wrong.

King of the Hill should be unlocked. Should be, because its section is empty for me, so I have to restart the game, I guess.
