I'm 99,9% sure we will. This will change code on how Xmas masks work seeing that we can get them though Mystery on spin the wheel. Also, we need gifts dammit! Rockstar, still waiting for that Railgun since 2014

I have absolutely zero interest in December update. R* failed to actually keep long time players engaged mostly because of idiotic matchmaking, chaotic amount of game modes and overwhelming dependency on mincrotransactions. Long time players are not shark card byers, while casuals are quite the opposite. This plus six years of updates is what will most definitely guarantee that we're not seeing another GTA on current generation of consoles, this milking cow will provide long enough until the new consoles arrive and even some more time after.

It's ironic that a 6-year-old game isn't driven by the die hards, it's powered by the casual players.

I think exactly the same will happen or already happens to RDO. What bothers me, it was possible to get more credit to veteran players, especially with rank appreciation, but we're seeing opposite: heist-locked content is now available to everyone and rank is useless than ever unless it can be monetized directly (arena wars).

Rank actually works against long time players, as in my experience, I seem to spend more time being kicked from lobbies and jobs that I try to join than actually playing.

For some reason my game is updating. Is there some sort of new patch out?

I'm on Steam PC.

 

EDIT: It seems to be for the "Rockstar Games Launcher", I didn't think that would require updating the steam version of the game.

I feel you fellow forum enthusiast,  iam rank 1094 been playing since 2016, I increased my rank by doing extensive crates and vip jobs but players seem  to ignore this,  gotta get rank 1100 soon

IMO, the next dlc will be Arena Wars part II. Remember all those leaks of vehicles modded specifically for the arena and didn't came in the dlc arena wars? There you have. Or wishfull thinking: zombie dlc (with new melee weapons like the katana) or tuners and outlaws.

A tuner DLC could work because there are ALOT of ppl into car shows and that would be the perfect time to allow us to buy the NOS, they already have rocket booster on cars it would work the same way only except you can buy it for every car

IDK if it is...they sometimes hint that. The garages of arena with wallpaper variant with words of "infections" (despite being a Ecola ad.) another with princess robotbublegum and other characters in zombie state. Apocaliptic theme for vehicle customization (majority from arena war dlc), etc. The only thing they should give us is gas masks that actually protect us from gas. xD

Tuners & Outlaws is the last DLC a big part of the GTA community wants. I would be perfectly okay if this is the last DLC for this generation and after it can get quite till GTA6 is announced.
