Well, there was the Lockheed YF-12 which was an experimental interceptor variant of the A-12, the predecesor of the SR-71, armed with air to air missiles.

 

So yeah, an A-12/SR-71 inspired jet being armed with missiles wouldn't be that far fetched.

Not sure how they drive but Krieger>>>Emerus on stunt and most regular tracks. The Krieg feels more like the Devest8 than them Emer and thats not a bad thing. I seem to do better in it.

I like the dvst8 but it is a bit op on most stunt tracks, shame as there's real strength in depth around the vagner/emerus/thrax/s80 etc grouping

I've had the same problem with the Emerus, GTO and this morning, the Krieger as well. Anyone who does honest top speed tests, the Emerus & D8 are not more than 1 mph from the Krieger. I think everyone will soon come to see that. For instance, someone did a 10 lap race and the Emerus won by 9 seconds, on yt, so they proclaimed the Emerus "faster"... that's really lazy thinking. You have more experience driving the Emerus than the Krieger and I ALWAYS find that practice driving a new car helps a lot in GTAO. If people don't get that concept, I can't help them...

What do you mean with honest top speed tests? Emerus and D8 is what, 4 mph or so apart from each other but Krieger and Emerus have same top speed from Broughy's testing

No, they're not. Broughy is not an accurate tester, period. For instance, he'll take a ton of trial laps and pick the best, why not average them out? Doing that allows for inherent result selectivity. Also, when you have only driven a car for 10 minutes, then do a lap speed with it as compared to other cars you drove longer, you're giving yourself an inherent disadvantage (lots of other testers do that and Broughy'll apply results from years ago to other cars to rank them when things have clearly changed since then). As to top speed, he claims the Devest8 is what, 4 mph above the Emerus and Krieger? Maybe it's because I'm on PC, but there's NO WAY I CAN get those results. Check Cone11's results. Why would they be so dramatically different? Also, I've personally tested top speeds on a number of cars, and he IS OFF. You can do it yourself to see and I doubt you'll get his results either. Create a really long, flat track, of in game highway, make it a race, play that race with a car, and then use it at full speed. Drive it at that for a while and after a bit, take distance and divide by how long it took you to cover it. If you cover 2 miles in 1 minute, that's 120mph top speed. His results are not copasetic.

 

Also, lap times again for a sec, why does he ONLY USE 1 TRACK? And it's terribly corner heavy. He needs to test and rank on 2 tracks, corner heavy and corner light. It's another case of engineering the result in advance and he definitely does that.

Not going to waste any time commenting on any of the rest but one track is because it's time consuming and he probably wants to do other things also..

I don't record it on my pc. It's a laptop only operating on a 512gb ssd, not really much space. Just try it for yourself. Take a friend and race two supers (consider the relative changes once you're both at full top speed just to see which is faster in a pure sense; that's how I first realized he was often wrong, back on my console days). Anyway, there are a LOT of ways to do it and he comes off wrong quite a bit. Also, as to him not having time, he runs a number of laps and then picks the best time of each vehicle to present. That's what I said, in part, is dishonest. Especially to cherry pick 1 lap on 1 track, lazy and intellectually dishonest. I'm not saying he's 4 mph wrong on every car, but his accuracy is questionable at best. He claims the Emerus and Krieger have the same top speed, and while I prefer the Krieger, I don't think he's right. I could only do about 10 minutes of testing on it this morning and it seemed the Emerus was a little faster in top speed, which he actually alluded to in his lap time testing... prob is now that I work a lot of 11 hour days. Why don't you do it for me:)?

IF there is an update on December, and judging by how the last one went, the hype train will leave the station and slow down, maybe even crash several time before it really starts moving at some point by the end of November.

There will be an update. I don’t think it will be on the level of past December updates or even the Casino update for comparison. I just hope for good vehicles
