Guys does anyone know why the limit in word characters in feedback form of R* website is so limited ?? This wouldn't happen in the past where you could just email them by yourself....

Do you have to split the message in more parts to send it as one?

This is so they dont have to read trough more then 5 scentences. Rockstar is midly autistic, so they like short to the point messages otherwise they throw stuff trough the office, such as plants, trashcans and watercups.

All I can hope is that because this is technically the first update to come out after opening their feedback page, we get a lot of community requested stuff. Hell, the whole premise behind Casinos is definitely something that was requested for a very long time.

 

I mean, just gimme a civilian 2nd-Gen Stanier and Annihilator MkII and I'll be set.

The new feedback form is why I reckon this update is taking a while.

 

They can't do everything, and they usually go by whats requested most (few exceptions). But yeah, I reckon thats the reason.

I understand that sometimes you can just say something in a few words but suggesting new mechanics and providing extended details to help them is not bad. You can suggest an idea but can also suggest some guidelines on how to to soften the frustration the might bring trouble. Many ideas have been thrown out of the window just because they wouldn't take some time to read a few specifics and then think about it.

1) Drop the announcement today, with trailer/release date, and no more info until release day.

 

2) Drop the announcement Friday, dripfeed us info on Twitter over the weekend, drop the update on Thursday.

 

3) Leave us in silence, deal with riots, silently drop the update on Thursday with trailer.

 

4) Do something new that they've never done before.

I know this can easily become heavily fed since its for everyone to use and a lot of people would just say give me that, give me this and so on, but think about it. They have implemented a sh*tload of things in the past. A pattern recognition software to classify keywords used and categorize them into different subcategories from their side of view would a be a total time saver so if they want to take suggestions on something specific they could narrow down 100k emails down to 10k or less (depends on the popularity level)

No not really, but since everyones so confident in the date, anyone wanna participate in a little game? If it’s august 1st and beyond for the release and you guess the 25th or 23rd you get temp banned and the same thing applies the other way around, no one wanted to play last time

Even if they gave us a release date for this update and it turned out to be mid August, that's perfectly fine for me. At least it would put all of the release date speculation stuff to rest, and it would help us to focus on preparing for the update that we actually know is coming.

 

Granted we've had almost nine months to prepare, so...yeah.
