Nah don't at all. I blame R*'s complete lack of info and openness. It leaves everyone grasping at straws.

 

Back to speculation, I would definitely love to see an Eastern European / Russian crime syndicate twist on this DLC. There are tons of online Russian Casinos with reports of all sorts of dodgy ties to Russian mafia, along with Russian hackers who hack into them to make money. Maybe a new way to make money with regards to the DLC eh?

At the very least we need some info. I got bored of waiting and stopped even looking at this thread or thinking of the update. A gif of a casino logo really just is't enough to keep me hyped for very long at all.

 

Ideal would be something really detailed, also detailing tweaks and balance changes. That won't happen I don't think though. But some pictures of vehicles coming, a little more info, and maybe some clues hidden in - why not? It's about time.

recently i read somewhere GTA VI will be in "Rio de Janeiro" in the 1960s or 70s. Now that would be really cool

Really hope it doesn't come to that point, nothing better than v8. Hope the next Gta goes back into the 70-90s, too much futuristic things will probably kill Gta for me.

I'm safe, I have the people of r* on my side.

They would never release a DLC earlier than expected for any reason ever.

Even if aliens threatened to destroy earth with a death-star laser unless r* releases the update, they still wouldn't do it

Is there a specific time when we could expect to hear something, if the update is announced today? I haven't played GTA Online in about 3-4 months but I reinstalled yesterday especially for this update.
