R* probably broke a ton of sh*t n that’s why we’ve been waiting so long.  That area was/is used for a few things, peg spawn, cargo missions, I/e mission and some others.

Rockstar has been pushing the ad for the Casino update pretty hard on Reddit the past few days, so "soon" might actually mean soon.

I think that Rockstar might actually be putting some real effort into this DLC and the Casino. Here's why. Why would they go out of there way to make it The Diamond Casino and Resort instead of just opening the Casino we have now, if they don't intent to actually change anything? They could've easily made it easier for themselves and just opened up the Be Lucky Casino and not changed anything at all. So they have to be making some real changes then.

The fact they decided to re-brand it at all makes me feel as if none of the orginal assets are going to be used. Everything that we'll see will probably be made from scratch just for this update.

I think so too. They have been promoting real much on Instagram as well.

I personally doubt they will change the casino. They've never changed the map before, and we've had way more in depth and original dlcs than this one will be.

Which is very exciting. The fact that they waited so long to give us information mixed with the fact that it has been a long time since our last " big " update, has me extremely excited. I'm making sure I live in the moment.

They have. Multiple bunkers & facilities, even added bridge that connects to one of said facilities. Also, some garage elevator doors for the arcadius building..

Is it too late to wish for bahama mamas opening? I was so wishing for that when after hours came out but nope. They even add popularity missions where we blow up their supply trucks. Why not open the place and have popularity missions in there? Like start a fight at bahama mamas to cause a PR scandal for them

Apart from hoping to get some info today finally, I also wish for a decent event week. Last week's was pretty good for cooling things off from the Independence Day week, but now some decent money making opportunities would be nice
