You seem to be forgetting to add the Karin Snipe to the list, unless it's already in the game and I can't find it yet.

 

Maybe I need to eat a realistic steak first, then it becomes available at LGM.

Honestly the thing I'm the most excited about is the Patch Notes. I'm really curious first to see if Rockstar actually listened to user feedback, and if they did, what changes they made. Other than that, I expect the new clothing to be pretty awesome (although I had high hopes for After Hours too and we know how that turned out), and also the new cars, it's been ages since we've gotten a new car and even more time since we've gotten that magical feeling of going through the FoxySnaps account and feeling the hype building up as we look at the models of the new vehicles and either go "wow cool" or "WTF ANOTHER OPPRESSOR??".

The major difference is the lack of simple acknowledgment since the teaser. The issue After Hours had was Yan leaked it way too early, using his reputation and credibility to get the community hyped, only to then announce that the DLC was delayed to incorporate the Terrorbyte. (Which makes me wonder when exactly they did the mocap and voice acting for that update during production). Everyone knew a Nightclub DLC was coming for weeks before we finally got just the little teaser, but shortly the announcement that it WAS coming in July after Rockstar started The Guest List to keep the hype up. By simply playing every week we could get discounts and freebies we could only get for those weeks alone.

 

I wouldn't be surprised if the secondary reason T2/R* told Yan to stop leaking was because they didn't want to go through endless "Whens it coming? He said it's coming, so that proves it's coming, Just tell me when even though it's likely not finished." emails flooding the feedback system. Fat lot of good that's probably done them this time around. Aside from the trusted names here playing about with their credibility, R* have handled this one themselves, they chose to "update" the Casino before announcement, they chose to release the logo, they chose to announce it without even a release month. Since that one week of the teaser teaser and the actual teaser... they haven't made a single reference to the Casino update since then, like they don't want to big it up, get players excited... they've put more focus on selling the Twitch Prime stuff over less time since the DCR announcement.

 

They might as well have said nothing at this point.

You and me both, I'm hoping for really flash suits, maybe a some more neon clothing, less wireframe jumpsuits and more the Cyberpunk 2077 Jacket, where the neon is a secondary thing.

 

But knowing the Rockstar fashion designers, it'll be endless Ankle Suits with ugly hotel wallpaper patterns on them.

To clarify, been a fan since GTA 2 came out, loved all the games, love online (cuz I play it MY way, stress FREE)

I never imagined that Grand Theft Auto will turn into Grief Thy Adversary. I always thought when the time comes and we can all share the great open world together, it would be us against the AI, not us against ourselves. Plus it was executed in such a horrible manner in every aspect.. The PvP in GTA is a complete joke, and so is anyone who takes it seriously (looking at you, tryhards, griefers and cheaters).

A good GTA game will be an activity rich, stress free GTA. If you want PvP, take it to a dedicated lobby or hide it in adversary modes and deathmatches. It doesn't make sense that the best way to play one of the biggest multiplayer games is by avoiding other people in it. So I do hope we get what we deserve one day, a game we can FULLY enjoy, and not just by dissecting individual parts of it.

Would be nice if they stopped copy-pasting the premium races tho, these are getting kinda old.. At least go back to the previous cycle with all the stunt races in it...

They are and it was awesome for the first second and third wave of them, but they keep repeating and the pool is pretty small for some reason. Nothing random about it too, same predictable 8 or 10 races

This is so disappointing that almost a month passed from the last teaser and we did not get any more info from Rockstar about the casino dlc. Like why do you start teasing and then suddenly from all of a sudden the info stops like Rockstar forgot that there even was some kind of a casino dlc. I still can not get my head around it. Is it only me or do you too feel the same?

Eh better to focus on the fact that the dlc is getting closer. We have a decent chance it drops the week after next.

I dont see anything wrong with teasing early. You start hearing about big movies like a year before they even come out. So lets hope this dlc will be huge and R is just making sure they give plenty of time for their player base to know its coming.

This is the longest we have ever gone without dlc. Many players have moved on. So yea Its only natural they advertise a bit early to get those players back.

See, with movies they usually release trailers and whatnot, here we only had a logo, even After Hours had an actual teaser shortly after they posted that picture with the DJs names, and as for other players, they should've released screenshots, I'm not asking for an entire album, 2 screens would've made the wait bearable.

 

 

This make me remember the info drought we had for this game before it was released, they released 2 screenshots for GTAV in an Asked and Answered for Max Payne way back in 2012, 8 months after the first teaser for the game and the internet blew up.

 

Anyone remembers this? man this game has came a looooong way lmao

We are very busy working on the game! Everything is going well, but the game is a huge project. We should have more information and some new assets for you soon..

...We did, however, manage to sneak a quick screenshot out for you… it’s not much, but we thought it was pretty fun.

 



 

Then of course our art team said that no single shot could encapsulate the game properly, so they gave us another...

 



 

We will try and get some more screens for you soon and then another trailer when we are ready.
