Edit 2: I hope if you lose all your money you are forced to pay with the money worth from a chosen property, say you have an empty garage you don't use and its sell value is $100k, so you can pay your debt with that money and obviously get rid of the property too.

Unless they implement a system where you can work as a toilet cleaner to pay off your debts. They could even reuse the part from the singleplayer mission where you have to clean the bathroom floors of the IAA offices and hide some mics to get information as Michael.

No, a lot of people play thru a VPN and I never heard of anyone getting banned over it.

I'm sure Rockstar don't care if you gamble when it's restricted in your country. It's just something they did to cover themselves

The tone, the topic, the voice, the repetition of GrAnD ThEfT AuTo.. PTSD was real believe me. Got nothing against gameranx, watch them myself from time to time, and i swear I didn't notice any similarities up until this one.

 

OT:

This whole restriction business is so stupid. Why would some people get to gamble and some won't, that's not fair.. The whole point of video games is to escape the reality of the stupid place we live in, why take it inside...? Why even listen to individual country laws? let said countries ban the game completely and watch the mobs of children set schools on fire until they revert their stupid decision... + free PR

 

Forgot something hilarious, I just woke up from a dream where Cyberpunk 2077 already came out and I got to play the first 2 hours of it (it was amazing) and I remember thinking "how weird is it that THIS came out but the casino DLC is still coming "soon"

They should have ran a guest list thing like in AH since they were going to make us wait.....

 

But I hope they know they probably killed this dlc with the wait....cause a good part of the players got hyped about what was going to be in it, then more got hyped cause of the crap that got talked about.

 

So now it's going to bomb cause it's not going to make anyone flipping happy but them fan boys that act like R* does no wrong.

They could've at least put a small line of text under the last Newswire posts with "Stay tuned for more info about the casino next (date) ". But no, all we have are 2 small newswire posts over almost a span of an entire month. They teased the DLC way to early.

I don't think this update can be worth the wait. The hype was build up so poorly and there's only so much one update can do so prepare for, I don't want to say disappointment but keep your expectations realistic

what if r* wants us to forget about the update altogether? We've gone so long without any new info so maybe by the time the trailer comes out we'll be amazed again?

I can see the posts on Twitter... "What about RDO? You forgot about it!", "When's the next RDO update?", some RDR2 GIFs with something taking so long and a lot of grievance. Besides, they treat us like we were not even there. I wish they were more like CDPR on social media...

In the Czech Republic, GTAO won't be influenced by hazard law (if we play with non-buyable chips), bc we won't play with a buyable currency (probably), right? It's just easier and safer for them to turn the features off. But they can change their minds and hopefully they will do so.

P.S. the law states you have to confirm you are older than 18 yrs, I think that's the only regulation (and maybe not being a big name on the central register of debtors), but I would be more than happy to scan my ID card and send it to R*.
