Jesus christ, all of a sudden chrome started popping posts notifications from this thread and all i could think of was "HOLY sh*t SOMETHING HAPPENED R* BROKE THE SILENCE". And then i refreshed the page and noticed that my browser had just glitched and sent me the notifications from the last hour or so. Feels bad man

If the props lead to the release of the DLC, it would've been a great way to do it. Instead, they've added them and then nothing happened. They've skipped the March update, the least they could do for their player base is to actually give some infos instead of doing the usual radio silence. And no, the newswire saying that a new dlc is coming sometimes this summer isn't really infos.

Thats the damn Uranus, only been waiting for this car for like 6 freakin years and its practically in the game the whole time!! Its the only car I wanted before the game even came out. Imagine my disappointment dlc after dlc after dlc

Well, it doesn't have the "GTA" car design philosophy on it because it's literally a ported car from Mafia III.

 

As much as I love the modding community, some of the "lore friendly" cars and liveries don't really look like they would fit the GTA universe IMO.

 

Like, taking the exact design and colors of a famous livery but just changing its name to a double entendre is kind of lazy.

Honestly I'm on the opposite side, the modding community does a lot of simple things Rockstar can't even be bothered with. They also fix a lot of their dumbass decisions like the classic comet or forced mods on 350z, etc. I feel like they'd do a better job than whoever manages the vehicle department right now despite most of Arena Wars being quality for once

Speaking of cars we need cars that actually fit the Casino theme of being rich and expensive, so with that being said we need more supercars or luxury car like a new Bentley or Rolls Royce.

preach. Been a while since we've gotten some proper luxury cars aside from the Stafford. The Windsor and Cognoscenti LWB are great cars for when you want to chill out and "bask" in your wealth Would be nice to have more like that

I wish we had the ability to hire a actual NPC driver that puts your car in passive mode without a 'ghost' effect like regular passive mode, that way people can see you but you can't be harmed while being driven around. It would be cool to do with friends in a limo or something.

i think i figured out what qabeta3 is.

i looked into the steamdb page and noticed that qabeta3 is listed with that old new playgtav.exe entry:

maybe qabeta3 is just their branch in which they usually have their debug build, and that exe is to startup the debug build.

and this is why they update both so often.

qabeta2 for "release build" and qabeta3 for their debug build.

 

just a guess.

Oh, don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that their mods look out of place or anything, they have fixed most of the bullsh*t in several vehicles that R* adds and even created some that R* wouldn't do. I'm talking about things like this:

 

 

As cool as it looks, it's literally the Castrol TOM's Supra livery with almost the same design and colors, but with a made up name. That's kind of lazy IMO.

Not 'totally unsubstantiated' .. the props had a system, clearly pointed to a date. Without props being changed, everything would be as usual.

Not really,  It was a theory that DLC would roll out after 3 rounds of props, nothing more.  Certainly nothing confirmed or even hinted at by RS.
