Well noticed though. I reckon the heroic Fun would have informed us at the time of the construction prop appearances whether there had been any changes in the pathing / spawn mechanics around that location. They'll likely be tweaked (as were the Nightclubs) when the DLC is released properly, along with vehicle paths etc. as necessary. 

I've noticed NPCs on the racetrack itself, by the aircraft spawn point at the starting straight. They hang out in a little group, smoking cigs and doing other 2013 things. Never seen them before.

The recent qabeta update kinda confirm the new update isn't releasing next week.

They usually do the qabeta update without changing the size a week prior to release.

Go back and look at the thread the weeks before they confirmed the update.  You will see lots of posts from people saying, just wish they would confirm the DLC.  Well they have.  They don’t have a release date, so later this summer is probably best they can do at this point.  So you would prefer they said nothing and didn’t confirm it, is that correct?

Well After Hours went live July 24th. If we accept Thursday as new 'DLC day' 25th could be it. With possible trailer next week. But why the props changes month earlier ?

Many are now tense and can be angry, but do not attack R*,they are just trying to release DLC without errors.Let's just wait.Remember how long we waited for the robbery.It was worth it.I hope R* will not fail this time.

I was thinking something similar. 

The prop changes seem premature now, but we can infer that their timing was consistent with the planned release schedule back then. So if we assume the project is three weeks off track, does anyone with any 'inside info', or just game dev knowledge, know whether delays of this length are usual for something like a DLC update? How serious would an issue have to be?

People would've preferred they confirmed it close to release really. The main thing is people would've also preferred a late June/July launch and felt that was a given, which it clearly isn't at this point. That's why ppl are salty.

I (sort of) doubt we will get a Dominator Classic. If we get another body style from the first-gen Mustangs, I think we will get a '71 Mustang, AKA Mach's car. Hell, I think we would get the 1962 Ford Mustang concept car before a Dominator Classic.

What about the mid 80’s fox body.  It’s found around the map junked so a redo shouldn’t be that hard.

I honestly think that car that the modding community love so much looks like crap tbh. Always have.

 

I do wish for more classic mustangs however.
