To me, for R* just put a two paragraphs of text about the new bonus week, it's because there will be later today a newswire with more information about the dlc. I bet on that.

Exactly. The fact that the word "week" isn't mentioned at all in the newswire (except the copy/pasted bit at the end) is suspicious. All they say is that there is currently double money on stunt races

Exactly. I think this "event week" is just some things they put together last minute to hold us over until Tuesday. They didn't create any promo images and the gif on the twitter post is very simple. That is why I think this event week was created last minute. They had this almost same exact event week a few weeks ago. It seems very recycled. I have a feeling their original plan was to, in fact, release it on the 11th and they may of been delayed for some reason. Either way it is *very* odd for them not to set an end date and not use the word "week" at all, which is why I believe update is coming on Tuesday.

True, with the latest events (not just last week's but even minor ones like the one with the Triple $ on Hotring Circuit) we've always had some kind of graphics that characterized that event, and a mini video that would summarize all the bonuses, not this time though, just some clips taken straight from the Cunning Stunts trailer and that's it

I'd say the update to iFruit and Rockstars lack of an end date in the current newswire warrants a lot of curiosity for people. But I think people are jumping the gun a but by believing the event newswire means we won't get a Casino info newswire today. Event and update info are two separate subjects that would warrant separate newswire articles. The last Casino information we received arrived around 11am PST. I'd remain patient and wait and see what Rockstar decides to pull out of their ass before jumping to conclusions.

almost every event week has an end date attached, even the ones w/o timed unlocks.

 

I actually think the no end date means this event "week" will be 3 days longer than normal, 23 July is my release prediction

Bingo. Seems very recycled and last minute. We will see if this is right later. I'll be away all next week unfortunately, so it doesn't matter for me if it comes Tuesday or Thursday.

One thing that i never liked from the community is going into R* social medias and saying: "You're lame, buuuh! Give us news! Bad bonus week! You suck R*!" Then comes the dlc: "OMG R* you rock!!!! OMG this is so amazing! WOW! I love you R*!" Like...are this little brats commenting?

That would still be considered an event week even with the additional 3 days. Rockstar would likely still refer to it as an event week. The lack of any end date mentioned is suspect to say the least.

Speculation is its due to a) owning too many vehcles causes this. or b)Any vehcle purchased and delivered to arena.

Just an off topic about the ifruit app... It's not an app problem (well, maybe yes, idk for sure) neither a vehicles problem. If you buy a car and make it be delivered in a COMPLETELY EMPTY garage slot, that car will never appear in iFruit, even if you switch it with a car that appear in iFruit and even if that car is a day one car, in fact is not a model problem. You CAN make a Devaste Eight appear in iFruit, but, when you are buying the car, you have to overwrite a car that is currently showing in iFruit, losing that car forever. Idk why, but after After Hours any car delivered in any empty slot never appear in iFruit. You can buy a car and deliver that car directly in the arena and have it in iFruit, but you have to be sure to overwrite an already iFruit car. P.S. You can switch any iFruit car in any slot, even an empty slot in the arena, and that car will retain the ability to show up in iFruit.

Interesting, as well. But it would be 5 days longer than normal. A 12 day event week would be unnecessarily long. If it is the 23rd, It would make sense just to do a normal "full" event week this week and a shortened one next week.

What makes you think the update cant be released on Thursday though? the tunables are updated on Thursdays now, why would the DLC be released on Tuesday? just because other DLCs are released on Tuesdays?
