The cards a player is holding would not be real time for you ofcourse. Way to much resources. And how does that differ from just walking behind the table in person if the latter would be true? It will most likely be just a plain deck of cards wich don't represent your current hand in-game.

The games set you into a separate lobby, just like tennis, golf, etc. All the card faces are blank except yours, just like in RDO poker.

So we'll have to go into a separate lobby for the gambling games? I thought it'd be seamless and we could just sit down and play Poker with no loading screens.

It's semi seamless in RDO, I assume it will be very similar.

We need to go through a loading screen to prevent players in countries with gambling laws from getting in.

I am saying the real casino design..there is a lot of stories describe some gambler cheat with reflection.

Anyway I heard that some casino do not put clock or window in gambling room, the reason is: make gambler forget the time and keep playing.

Well even if it was as he says, they could just prevent them from sitting down at the table. 

 

The way I think it's going to work, as it does in RDO. Walk up to the table, press > to join, short load screen, maybe a "press X to start", then cutscene of your character sitting down.

casinos don't even have windows, they don't want you to know how long you've spent on the floor, also the exits are usually hard to find and all paths lead to the floor

nah I think it can work like arm wrestling and In those countries they will just disable those games so you can't sit and play.

I dont get the part about Gambling being disabled in certain countries.

How can they justify locking off a massive part of the DLC for certain people. The update is literally a Casino update but people cant use the Casino...?

That's a very good point. I wonder how players will be able to access the Resort of the Casino for the certain people who cannot gamble.

Yes they can. Rockstar gave us more than gambling. These people won't have gambling but they will have the entertainment, Resort, exclusive shopping, Valet Parking and everything else Rockstar said.

I assume people will be allowed into the Casino but going upto the tables will drop a "Sorry, your country does not allow Gambling" message in the top corner but its still a massively sh*tty thing to do.

 

A good question to ask. People who cant play Poker in RDO, can you use the Wheel of Fortune thing in Arena Wars?

I get that but its still a massive part of the DLC. Its like being invited to a pie restaurant but you are not allowed to eat any pie. You can have all the veg you want but no pie.

I am absolutely sure that if R* could make it available in all countries, they would. It's not up to them.

Thats why I think it won't be a massive part of this dlc, more lik side activity. Plus they will probably add non gambling mini-games as well.

So you have two ways to get CasinoChips. Missions, gambling or both.

Oh yeah that valet parking sounds very interesting /s 

We still have to see what kind of entertainment they are bringing tho. New shop and parking animations won't keep people entertained for long. I just hope this won't end up like nightclubs...

Oh I agree but I still find a little sh*tty all round that people wont be able to use a large part of the theme.

Crush cars like an honest to God MBT? The Rhino can, but the Khanjali can't.

 

 

Also, it would look like a real tank.

Maybe even give it an optional pair of mine sweepers for menacing look.



The Khanjali looks like an evolution of the III/VC era Rhino.
