None of the map changes appear in races, missions, etc. Those all take place on the vanilla map.

I hope they do... but I'd expect a callback to the Chariot Hotel in VC.

If they change the casino that wouldn't really be the case.

The bunkers and facilitys are just props placed on top of the environment.

I doubt they will be able to just place a new exterior on top of the current casino, with the current one still underneath it.

I'm sure they will figure out a way. They aren't gonna f*ck up thousands of players custom races, and R* created races.

you misunderstood, GTAO is doing better than RDO, but RDO is doing better at this point in it's life than GTAO was doing at this same point in it's life

also, did you miss all the posts about player count?  this is still one of the most played games on consoles, it is not even close to past it's prime

Firstly, we'll get an "inside look", and only after - trailer with the announcement.
Secondly, we got the "announcement" a few weeks ago. So, Casino dlc is no more a "surprise" dlc as Arena war dlc.

Got you. But we've never get a trailer "a few hours" before any DLC.
Only "a day" before. All we can expect "a few hours" before DLC, are the leaks from the early access around 7:00am GMT at release day.

I'm starting to see more and more of the "upcoming GTA update" click bait articles. I think they are almost as bad as the click bait vidoes on Youtube. None of them have any factual statements regarding the upcoming update. They just regurgitate that the update is coming, possibly next week but probably by the end of the summer. Then they reiterate when some of the previous updates came out and the vehicles that went with them all while hypothesizing in very vague terms about what might possibly come with this update. In the end the articles are nothing more than pure speculation and conjecture built on top of whatever article the author could find that was posted on another website.

Nah, map is made from chunks, they can edit chunks if they want to. Just like they made part of mt chiliad flat to place that missile silo from DDH.

Agree, rdro has potential. I imagine that creator mode for rdro with wooden props would entertain people for years.

That part of mount chilliad with the silo is a prop too that is just placed on top.

Why would they seek to amend the casino externally when it can all be housed underground? They didn't stick a 3-storey car park and storage facility on top of the Arena or Exceptionalists Way for my nightclub.

 

That's my biggest hope for when they open up some of the more choice houses in LS, that we can extend underground as per the current RL trend of the every wealthy.
