With After Hours the teaser was a full blown trailer giving us a sneak peek at the interior, the DJ's and that Tony would be making a comeback, then we had The Guest List shortly after that lasted for weeks, giving us freebies and discounts on certain items when the update eventually launched. It kept interest up to keep playing and get excited. we're starting to get into July now and we've had absolutely nothing like that.

 

Just the regular play to unlock this one T-Shirt. Not even any of the really unique but still locked Gunrunning/Smugglers Run/Doomsday or After Hours liveries.

I said the dates make perfect sense not the content. Think about it. The teaser in this case (and yes its considered somehow as a teaser trailer even if its not) was the diamond drop mini clip (The initial teaser was the screen teasing the dlc with purple logo and such) . This time the only different thing as it seems is the we don't get text updates concerning the update regularly and we are kept in dark. (This is a hype technique R* uses to make us go crazy. I suppose you know that) You can witness the mayhem in here already .

you can't take one without the other, dates are the only thing that line up, and actually they don't, at all, but the promotion for each is wildly different, so to even compare the two is ridiculous

 

for AH we had one teaser trailer, that's it, then 3 weeks before the update the guest list started, for this update we had new props, then the next week a teaser tweet, then the following Thursday we got a newswire, then nothing. 

how are either of those similar in any way?

They did things different this time. 1st of all AH was not that much of a hype as much as it is with Casino. Casino is like a wish for most and R* knew that. They just dropped some hints and teaser to let us know and went off the radar . Its a full hype technique. The dates look alike not in a matter of flow of content dropped each week since its a different hype approach this time. So well i believe in 25th as release. I could ofc be wrong. I m not a leaker or anything related to that.

the dates don't line up, at all.  and the casino was not wanted more than nightclubs, both were highly requested but the casino kind of faded away making room for nightclub speculation.  I honestly don't know what you are trying to say, nothing about the casino promotion is anything like the AH promotion, not the dates and not the marketing style.  apples and oranges.

I guess you're referring to the announcements etc, but for me if we're doing 2 DLCs per year as of After Hours, and After Hours launched July 24th, then July 25th is the default this time round. In the absence of anything other than "later this Summer" that's all we got right now. And the Twitch Prime thing lines up nicely as well, if the next promo includes Nightclubs Casino (derp) content.

The casino faded away because there was no plan for it back then. Nightclubs were always wanted from most i know that, but gambling was too. Anyway this is just a statement of mine and nothing more. I just did some comparisons between those 2 (mostly dates), putting a shift to the release since they changed the weekly updates day and taking in account the gaps between trailers images announcements and so on i concluded in that date. I didn't say 18th is not on the table anymore. Call it a hunch if you will.A wild guess or whatever you want to call it

the dates of previous updates releases literally don't matter, we have had multiple July updates and all of them in different weeks in July

But only one since we moved to 2 x DLCs pa.

 

I guess I'm saying every thursday (and tuesday?) is a possible, but that one gets a 2% bump/default status. For me.

They do have a mix up system and since R* works in mysterious ways only, you cant find exact matches in dates. Its a little bit of both. Nobody can't come and tell you for sure. If anyone could do that and wouldn't troll or something this thread should be called "Confirmation" and not "Speculation". So unless we get some serious facts everything is in the air.

as long as the link end with .jpg .jpeg .gif .png etc etc the forum should display the image.

 

other way is by using the bbc code [.img]insert link of picture here [./img] <remove the .
