Apart from Mission Impossible 2, the series really improves with each movie and especially the last two were just really well done intense action movies In this day and age of superheroes and CGI focused bs, it's refreshing to have an action franchise like this. Mission: Impossible – Fallout is one of the greatest action films I've personally ever seen, so much so that I've rewatched it numerous times. He is definitely a great actor and my problem isn't that he "thinks differently", it's just that from what I have read and seen the whole Scientology cult is pretty f*cked up. True but unless you are really extreme, normal religious people don't support or do any f*cked up stuff. The Scientology cult gets support from Cruise from what I have seen, that's the part that's kind of wrong. But either way I don't really care as long as he keeps delivering as an actor, don't get people who straight up boycott him.
