Aim assist stops working completely

So will this completely game breaking (for PVP purposes) bug ever be fixed? It's pretty much impossible for me to kill another player when they can pull one button and instantly snap aim to my chest, but I have to manually aim (which is very easy to counter by simply moving, while they don't have to worry since their reticle stays on me the whole time). I've noticed others have had this problem since at least December, and I assumed that a seriously crippling bug like that would be fixed in a game filled with griefers that will literally hunt you down across the map purely to kill you for no reason. Hopefully this doesn't become one of the many, many bugs in Rockstar game that never get patched because they're too busy f*cking up the in-game economy so they can push their shark cards/gold as the only real way to make money.
