Things casual gamers do that you (or any hardcore GTA fan) hate?

For me it will have to be casuals referring to Grand Theft Auto V or GTA V as "Grand Theft Auto" or "GTA"

Actually I think I found one even worse: when casuals asked for GTA VI without playing more than two (out of 16) GTAs

- Installing car mods.

- Asking for cheats just to complete missions.

- Only using heavy weapons like the minigun, RPG-7 etc.

- Play the game for a few seconds/watching a video for a few seconds and saying that the game is trash.

- Using cheat codes.

- Not giving a f*ck about storyline.

- Thinking that VC or SA is the only GTA ever made.

-Not realizing the 3D and HD era taking place in separate continuities

-When a modder creates a complicated mod, casual modders are always like "avaliBle foR AndRoiD??"

Claiming that GTA San Andreas is the roots and standards of the series. It’s my favorite title in the 3D era, but that still doesn’t make it more of “roots” than any other title.

Is this really a thing? I mean they must have encountered that "V" in the title at some point. Doesn't take insane deduction skills to figure out that there were probably some previous installments.

Instead of me saying "Episodes From Liberty City", I keep saying "Episodes From Liberty City Stories."

Not really a GTA-exclusive issue but I've seen it done with GTA games as well: Saying a game is 'bad' or 'boring' based on 5 minutes of gameplay while skipping all cutscenes and not playing any missions. Mainly happens with Vice City and IV.

Can’t stand when casuals base GTA games purely on their graphics and the “extravagance” of their missions. Apparently, elements such as plot, characters, and setting don’t mean jack sh*t in comparison to how up-to-date and polished the visuals look or how many missions involve flying jet packs, shooting planes out of the air, tattooing dicks onto celebrities’ chests, or things of that nature. And, as such, the games that are more story-driven and grounded in reality (III and IV) are viewed as inferior to their more over-the-top, chaotic counterparts (SA and V) based on this absurd criteria.

Agreed. Most of the stuff here is too trivial to bother me, I don't care if people use the correct terms to refer to games, how much they know about the games or which they enjoy or are familiar with and which they're not. Tbh people being snobby about it in response is more annoying. But this is annoying in an I just don't get it way, it's just missing out on so much to view the games so narrowly. And even if that's just your thing (which is fine really even if I don't get it) it isn't a complete way of making judgements about them so when judgements based only on that stuff are broadcast it can be irritating for sure.
