How much of a difference do carvings and wraps make to guns?

How much of a difference do carvings and wraps make to guns?

 

I'm assuming carvings improve grip and wraps reduce wear, I'm sick of both making my guns look ugly.

Wraps reduce weapons degradation by 10%.  

Carvings are purely aesthetic, like etchings.

Carvings are just purely cosmetic

 

Wraps slow down degradation by like 10% or something. Barely noticeable, so I guess they're more for cosmetics too; but it's something.

Carvings are pointless for rifles if you intend to put a wrap on every rifle like I do. A cosmetic change you cannot see as the wrap completely hides it from view.

Ive started using wraps the last couple of weeks and there is deffinately a slowing down of the weapon getting dirty, Cant put a % on it but i feel they were worth the cost
