No names to identify players

When you encountered another player the name of that player would show up above the players head. More recently there are no names over players heads is this a bug or feature how do you know who youre interacting with if you cant identify them.

Pause - GTA Online - Options.

 

Theres an option there that allows you to change it there.

I actually turned mine off on purpose, in GTAO and RDO. Immersion breaking for me.

But if you're with friends, you can remember what each person's character looks like so you know who's who?
