when u do the unique jump from the mini mall multi story car park to the building opposite ,are the wooden stairs in front another jump,,cos every time i try it i f**k up .

No, just landing on the roof is the jump.  But if you go up those stairs to the upper level of that roof, you can use it to get a good run at the ramp at the end.  For that jump you need to clear the street and either land on or completely clear the white building on the corner accross the street.
