Psp version by default uses models from LVZ level files, but ps2 does not and you see not bugged models from GTA3PS2.IMG on ps2. I can make psp version to use models from GTA3PSP.IMG like on ps2, but these models will pop in instead of fade in like on ps2 and have no ambient lighting. I would prefer PSP ones instead. ALSO : 1) Do you know why the french version of menu is too big ? I renamed FRENCH.TXT to ENGLISH.TXT because in the american version you can not change the language so I forced it. Everything is OK except it. 2) You added PS2 exclusives purchases. Is it normal that there is no menu when i walk on the circle. Exemple here, I can press X or O to buy or cancel. It works but no UI. The first time I thougt the game was frozen. 3) Is there possible to reduce the size of the message box like you did with radar and weapons/healt icons ? Thank you for your reply ! Sometimes it's hard to read the subtitles on cutscenes. I know that there is another gametext.png with shadows but the difference is so small that it is not noticeable. 2) Is it possible to edit the rain ? Here's a test with LCS mobile textures, it looks too bland. xbox mod has better world textures, would be better take from there instead. But the texture replacement method for ppsspp is very boring sucetible to problems since the textures have a very low resolution and you have no idea from wich area of the game they are applied, it would be necessary to look and compare all textures one by one with textures from xbox mod, this would take ages. The only way to retex LCS with HD textures would be if someone release a tool to edit the game files. Majestic actually did the tool, but didn't released it With this tool, for sure I would be able to port xbox mod textures to LCS. If he releases it someday, I'll port the textures right away. I'm actually trying to apply VRTP and Upscaled/Vanilla VC textures (which are still generally higher quality than the Leeds' more compressed textures) to VCS using this method. It's slow and boring, so I've only been chipping away at it casually for a month, and I've only matched about 300 textures so far. It's just for my personal enjoyment, but if Majestic doesn't release his tool, and I like the results, maybe I'll ask M.S. if I can share my edit here when I'm eventually done. I play LCS and VCS in a clean install of the emulator, and the only changes I do is put ''Vulkan'' as Backend and increase the clock to above 500 (otherwise LCS get framedrops). I have no visual bugs, it's all running fine. That 60/60 means that your game is runing in 60 fps? you need to cap the fps to 30, because 60 fps causes bugs in the games (tested with all 60 fps patches), for example this sound loop bug, wich almost made me drop the game before I discovered the cause. I know its difficult,but if you anyhow manage to retexture GTA LCS with GTA 3 Xbox HD mod textures + GTA LCS mobile textures and GTA VCS with VRTP textures and the remaining textures with AI upscaled HD textures, then these games would become awesome. Rebel Titan Posted February 11 Share Posted February 11 (edited) He has done a lot to improve the game. He has ported the whole map of PS2 of VCS and LCS to the PSP version. Now he needs to understand that those old textures look outdated now. The most important thing for these games are HD textures. The HD textures we're talking about are not just random HD textures ,these textures look almost exactly the same as the originals. And if he doesn't want to release his tool then he can retexture GTA VCS and LCS by himself. Just a suggestion...
